00 neon radio install

I'm putting a aftermarket stereo in a neon tomorrow, just wondering if there are any problems people run into, or pointers. Iv'e only done one or two radios, but I get the general Idea of how everything works cause iv'e installed a bunch of amps and subs. Let me know if anybody has installed one in a neon before, thanks

I don't know any thing about Neons . LOL but you live about 5 to 10 mins away .

Neons are pretty easy. I used to own 2 of them. Just head over to a store that specializes in stereo equipment and you should be able to get a wiring harness for the Neon so that you don't have to cut any of the wiring in the car or on the stereo. You should also be able to pick up a mounting plate so that you can achieve proper fitment for your single DIN deck.

yeah, replacing a radio in a neon is a piece of cake. the vents just pop out, then u take 2 screws out from behind the vents, and the big piece pops off. 4 screws undo the radio, and it's all out.
