You guys with the fancy ram air hoods......... where did you get them and what did you pay if you don't mind sharing.
Girlfriend wants a ram air style and I just wanted to get an idea of the diferent styles that are out there.

Mine came with one when I bought it. Check out PFYC for some hoods or ebay for some ballpark numbers.
No R/A hoods listed on ebay at the moment. Found a new ram air OE hood for $450can @ Lordco Auto Parts

did you go into an actual store to get that deal? i tried lookin them up on the internet but i didnt see anything about a ram air hood. Id buy one for that price.

Getting the OEM GM one thru a dealer or a bodyshop would be the most expensive way. There are some aftermarket ones that look similar for cheaper prices.

When I bought my Grand Am GT new, I was offered the scoop hood for $500 bucks from the dealer. I could have financed it with the car. I thought about it, really nice looking mod that looks like a throwback to my ram air 1968 Firebird. But being mainly my wife's car, I kept it simple.
