Yes, it does I tested the stage 2, it does indeed put out as much voltage as it says, but by no means was it safe for my car because it was always overcharging the battery when i was idling for more then a minute or so. So i took it off, The stage 1 voltage booster may be safe but the higher up one i would not recommend. Also you have to keep in mind it most certainly will decrease the life of your alternator.

^ I agree, I don't know if I would use that unless you really needed it. Try replacing the power wire from your alternator with a thicker gauge wire first to minimize voltage drop and get all the power from your alt at stock voltage, then maybe stage 1. Stage 2 is probably overkill.

I have the stage on and notice no diff.

i got the stage one, and tested the voltage with a volt ohm meter, and it does exactly what it says. it was .6 volt boost.

tech question, will it solve the problem of the high output alternators?
by that i mean, the fact that they put out less then they're supposed to because they're designed for 800rpm idle, and GA's idle at 650rpm
