I forget what size wrench to use on the flare nut that connects to the fuel filter...someone wrote 5/8" (i did a search) but that does not fit. Is the 16mm wrench the correct on to get?
Also the nut is rusted and not budging at all when I tried using an adustable wrench. There any way to remove it? Can this flare nut be replaced?

thanks....but the 13mm is a socket wrench used to remove the bracket that holds the fuel filter on a Grand Prix.
I need to know the size of the flare nut wrench used to turn the nut on the fuel line connecting to the fuel filter.

The filter side of the nut is a 20mm and the line side of the nut is a 16mm. Use some GM rust penetrant and let it soak for ten minutes. Put on the wrenches and squeeze them together to loosen.
Yeah yeah I've heard all about liquid wrench and PB Blaster.... nothing I've ever found works as good as the GM Rust Penetrant... Also called Heat Valve Lubricant.
