So I held my "sh*t talk" back waiting for a good moment to gloat but after this game its impossible... with the Colts now 8-0 After beating the patriots the thought of 19-0 is hard to deny... Can't wait to hear all of your excuses... I've never in my life been more proud of a team. The 1990's indiana pacers have nothing agaisnst the 2006 Colts!

What makes it even better was not only vegas was against us, but also was all the commentators at the beginning of the game! noticed they skipped the end game stuf with the commentators for this one. I'll now say I originally predicted the colts would go 14-2, but after this game, My prediction has changed to 19-0... no one is gonna beat the Colts!

I also loved how everyone was so quick to write off our banged up defense and in the end our defense won it for us! so anyway lets let the excuises fly! I'm looking foward to hearing them!

Either way we are 8 - 0 and we are the only undefeated team in the nfl! So come on, bring the excuses!

Well guys I will admit, even with the bears easy schedule I was hoping for them to win today... what would it be like to have the undefeated Colts vs. the Undfeated Bears for the superbowl? Whether the Colst win or loose the history factor would be unmatchable. I am sorry the bears lost today

it doesn't matter if they are undefeated right now or for the rest of the season, cause in the playoffs they will just choke.......hahaha

I'm just kidding, who knows what will happen. manning/harrison are unbelievable.

nah I hear yah... after last years chokefest 2005 everyone has the right to rip on the colts... I Just have a gut feeling that this year will be different... Hey even if we don't make the superbowl at least we have the comfort in knowing that Indy fans will have a new team to hate right? It sure as hell isn't going to be the steeler that smash are dream this year...

Peyton Manning is easily the best quarterback I've seen since John Elway, Dan Marino, and Joe Montana. Its fun to watch that offense move down the field. My Broncos almost got them last week, plus every game the colts have played have been close. They will most likely lose at some point. They have not dominated anyone yet, (win by like 15-20 points). Its just a matter of time. Who would've thought the Bears were gonna lose to Miami of all teams? The Colts will probably end up 14-2 or 13-3 for the regular season.

like I said 16-1... thats undefeated the whole season, than loose your first playoff game. I love 'em to death, but I"m being realistic... course who knows, maybe this year will be different.

I know I'm sick of having the best regular season team of all time... Ready to see us do somethin in the playoffs!

All im gonna say is this is the same type of thread that got you that temp ban last year lol.....Colts will lose at least 3 games this year. You should have lost to the Giants. But yea yea shoulda woulda coulda.....You'll still choke in the post season.......

anyway it was humorous how many people counted us out against new england, and the Colts had control from the beginning of the game, starting with Brady throwing an interception... Not at one point the whole entire game did N.E. Have a lead! Yeah at the beginning of the game I watched all the Jack @$$ comemtators on NBC pick N.E. to win. After seeing that I was like "allright now the colts have to win!"

I also enjoyed watching our defense come to life at last... they say "one man can't make a difference" but having Saftey bob sanders back did... that guy is incredible. I remember at one point he took off like a rocket, jumped over 3 patriots, and slammed into Mauroney!

no that was a thread about Reggie Miller that got me banned last year...

anyway in all realism I don't beleive in "undefeated" anymore, and I predict the colts will match last years record at 14-2. They are definitley going to get their chance to redeem themselves for last year so maybe this time they won't f*ck it up!

1999 - lost in the second round to the titans (went 13-3)
2000 - lost in the first round to the dolphins (went 10-6)
2001 - dint make the playoffs (went 6-10)
2002 - lost in the first round to the jets (went 10-6)
2003 - lost in the afc championship to the pats (went 12-4)
2004 - lost in the second round to the pats (went 12-4)
2005 - lost in the second round to the steelers (went 14-2)

yeah and I'm sick of it! Get over the hump allready! Oh well anything can happen, but i'm not ready to make superbowl picks yet. Just after winning 13 games straight last year and grabbing the #1 seed, than screwing it up to pitsburgh, its good to see the colts are on the road to getting a second shot with home field advantage. Undefeated? nah I doubt it don't believe its possible to be honest, but still think we should easily be able to get a 13-3/14-2 record.

I really don't see any team that can legitimately beat the colts for the rest of their schedule. If they lose..it's because they beat themselves. Otherwise theres no reason why they cant dominate the rest of the schedule.

Buffalo
@ Dallas
Philly
@ Tenn
@ Jacksonville
Cincinnati
@Houston
Miami

Cincinnati and Philly will probably be the only 2 teams to contest them.

I think they'll EASILY go 14-2....and surprise a lot of colts haters in the playoffs. After beating Denver and NE on the road back to back....who's gonna stop them???

Philly may suck lately...but their style will challenge them. And if their offense is healthy....they are more than able to trade TD's with the colts.

Besides...they already beat Jacksonville.

.Hey guys and I'm back... with no excueses. Congrats cowboys fans, there really is no excuse other than the fact that Parcells knows a lot more about football than Dungy does. Congrats on the win, and honestly, though I didn't believe in undefeated, I never would of guessed our first lost would of come to the cowboys! Congrats again!!!!

Clearly the Colts were just outcoaches this game...theres a reason why Parcells has several superbowl rings and dungy has none. I'm glad we lost to a respectfull team unlike the bears who lost to the sh**ty dolphins. I kinda felt in a way our first loss was coming this game though I didn't want to admit it.

sorry about that. I'll be honest I didn't believe in the bears, just thought they had an easy schedule, till they blew away the Giants last week. Guess they really our that tough!

Nah it just goes to show you that any team can upset any team on any given sunday. The loss is a good thing for the colts, maybe now they'll realize they aren't invincible, and their have been some clear problems all season that need fixing.

What really made me sick was how the Colts defense looked like the NFL's best the first half, then the second half they were back to giving up like 80 yards per series! Its like wtf happened? "well we busted our @$$ the first half, so we are just going to go out there and do nothing the second half!" Also all the mistakes from the offense. Fumbles, interceptions, etc. And of course with the game on the line, manning trying to throw an 80 yard pass on 3rd and 2, when he needed to just give the ball to addai or Rhodes and get that 1rst down! Sadly, this game reminded me too much of the playoff loss last year...

Really no one beats the Colts, the Colts beat themselves.

C'mon man......

The Colts got beat by Dallas yesterday. Plain & simple. My Broncos were up on San Diego 24-7 and collapsed in the 4th quarter. They made some mistakes, but all in all, they got beat....plain & simple. Yesterday, the Colts got beat. When you make mistakes or "beat yourself" as you put it, thats part of the game. The trick is to not make mistakes and play your best for 60 minutes of football.

Sorry man, it just erks me when people say a team beat themselves. To me, thats just a way out to make excuses on why your team is actually better than everyone else, and if anyone beats you, they didn't really beat you, you beat yourself. Thats not fair to the other team that worked their asses off to win. Yesterday, the Cowboys just played better and beat the Colts. Otherwise, ANY team could say they beat themselves any time they lose.

Well anyway I just hope they fix these problems they've been having all season. I'm sick of watching running backs just trying to get a yard or 2 on first down getting 12! Things will get better when Bob Sanders returns, and obviously for the offense to be up to full strength we are going to need Brandon Stokely back. The good thing about the loss is with San Diego's and Baltimore's 8-2 records, granted both teams don't loose the Colts are going to have to battle up to the end for playoff position. Hopefully they will be in game form come playoff time. However, I'm not guarenteeing them for the superbowl yet... I for one fear San Diego, who the Colts barely beat in 2004, and lost to in 2005, and now they honestly look like the best team in Football. Colts are going to have to play their A+ game against them for any kind of hope of winning.

I really like the way Romo is performing, and I'm glad that he finally is our starter. I knew it was going to be a pretty good game, and I'm just glad to see Dallas come out on top. This couldn't have been a better week for us Skins, Eagles, and Giants all lost...and we won. Now we just need to follow through, beat the bucs, and then keep the momentim rolling to the Giants. Honestly as for the NFC East its hard to say who will come out on top. The redskins season is pretty much over if you ask me. Philly is going to start falling without McNabb, and the Giants who looked like superbowl contenders earlier are going downhill slowly and the Cowboys are climbing back up. that division has to be the craziest in the nfl!

GrandAmGT1996

For not being a idiot fan and saying that you think your gonna win the bowl just because your playing good lol.....Definately in a few years with romo at the helm. I like the guy and i HATE dallas...So if i say i like someone on the team then they must be good hah. But i think you guys will win the division. We MIGHT wildcard. We we most likely beat tennessee, lose to cowboys, lose to panthers, beat eagles, beat saints and redskins and go 10-6...Such a sad way to end the year tho if that happened. We could have easily won 13 games...

Speaking of the Superbowl, if the COlts don't at least make it to the superbowl and loose this year, I think the fans here (including me) may be calling for a new coach. Dungy's probably the best regular season coach of all time, but so far he hasn't proved too me that he can do it in the playoffs. Also seemed ironic that the year after he left Tampa Bay, they won a superbowl!

not by a long shot...look at the squad he has in indy, thats the main reason they win. IIRC, Dungy went 54-42 while he coached in Tampa, and that clearly isn't what i would call the best regular season coach of all time

I'm glad I'm not the only one who really likes Romo. Yet again tonight he performed amazing. He will probably have the best QB rating at the end of the week, because his rating tonight against the bucs was 148.9, which only makes his prior 101 average better (granted he hasnt played all the games, but its obvious he is consistantly good and it wasnt just a fluke.) This upcoming game against the Giants will be by far the most important game for the cowboys in the past few years. We really need to keep the snowball effect and win that game.

He's put together a 115.8 QB rating, and excuse me for laughing at the implausibility of this happening, Romo now having completed 107 of 153 passes for 1,394 yards, 10 touchdowns - TEN -- and two interceptions in his four starts.

Or how about this? In the last three second halves, Romo has completed 29 of 31 passes for 409 yards, three touchdowns and a 151 QB rating.

Just some stats I found. I Love This Guy! lol

Romo is quite good. BUT i think the way he throws the ball will catch up to him. He doesnt put enough arch on his throws. If you notice, alot of his big throws/td's are almost line drive throws that go right past the safety/corners heads...Thats just bad awareness...I want Sam Madison back for wen we play you guys. Gonna be a good game, but we dealt Romo his loss :-P

Wasn't completly unexpected... I can sometimes sense these sorta losses, and I had a feeling looking at the rest of our so called "easy" schedule they were going to loose to the cowboys, and a division team, as who knows you better than your division? I also knew they weren't punks anymore since they nearly beat us last time, and are coming off a momentum swing of 3 wins going into this game, including Eli Manning...

Now you gotta wonder why the titans didn't start vince week one. With the loss of Steve McNair, it seemd a no brainer. Had they made that decision, with the past couple of wins, they might still be in the playoff race.

Its obvious that next year they are probably going to be the breakout team of the NFL. They really got some talent in Vince there.

Hes a rookie. you dont start rookies. esecially at quarterback. This season is the exception because every rookie playing is because the #1 either got semi-killed or is just that horrible...

As for the giants. Great game. Penaltys dfinately won the game for the cowboys imo...5 personal fouls?? that crack-back on Tyree was bull****..Out coverage is so weak its not even funny...Picked romo off 3x...Just alot of tough breaks for the giants.......Im prett sure we will still make wildcar..Only need 2 more wins basically to make widcard..

yeah but Peyton Never sat. As soon as the Colts drafted him, Harbaugh left, and Peyton took over immediatly.

Anyway 4 games left, Colts are going to have to battle it out now to retain that first seed. Its not going to be easy either, They play jacksonville, Cincinati, Housten, and Miami. I'd like to say "the next 2 games are going to be the toughest" however if the colts don't stop making the mistakes they've been making, A 10-6 record is not yet out of the possibility...

Yeah what happened to Denver? Its like as soon as they lost to San Diego it was just a downward spiral... and honestly I think starting Cutler was a mistake, I mean its now just too far in the season to start a rookie unless they really don't wanna make the playoffs. Of course the way Jake Plummer has been playing its hard to say if he honestly would make a difference, after all he's the reason the record dropped in the first place!

Sleepwalkr
12-06-2006, 06:40 PM
I actually think it was a wise move on Shanahan's part. Really, with Plummer playing the way he was..... putting Cutler in is not gonna worsen Denvers' situation. Denver is reasonably solid in every other area except QB. Their defense is phenomonal, in spite of a couple meltdowns against San Diego and KC. They've still allowed fewer TD's per number of opponent drives than anyone in the league. Cutler is gonna be a good quarterback someday and I think putting him in at crunch-time is gonna do more to sharpen his skills than during a point when it doesn't really matter.

Peyton Manning even said that if he had sat on the sidelines for a whole season and just watched, that he probably wouldn't be the QB he is today. Theres only so much you can learn from the sidelines without actually being in there and getting dirty.

Even if the Broncos lose their last 4 games and end up 7-9 and no playoffs, I'd start Cutler next season in a heartbeat. Very few great quarterback's had awesome beginnings.

God its just a downward spiral for the colts now....

This has to be the hardest game to watch of all season... the jags got the momentum, Peyton's playing good but the recievers are jumpy, dropping passes. Even for the worst run defense in the league, They are still absoloutly giving their worst performance of the season. Haven't seen the colts get blown away like this since the Colts vs. New england playoff game of 2004.

I usually believe in watching the whole game and I keep going back to check on it, but you know could you bare to watch one of your best friends get their ribs kicked in, their face crushed?

Even for a banged up, injured team, the Colts still came out unstopable... but now the season seems over. Really hope they get this defense fixed next year.

Good luck to San Diego in their superbowl run.

So anyway I'm rooting the bronchos on now to beat the Chargers. That will keep us with the first seed, however in away I'm almost rooting for the Colts to not make the playoffs. After the Jags got a touchdown at the beginning of the game with 2 plays, the Colts need to make some serious changes on Defense. It would be nice to have a higher draft pick to get some better guys...hopefully BIG guys! I'm not sure what happened in offseason last year, but after going from the 32nd to the 11th last year, I expected us to be even better this year, never would of imagined it to be worse than its ever been.

I'm also starting to believe less and less in Tony Dungy. This problem was evident in week one, instead of making the necessary changes it takes to make defense tougher he just believed "we aren't playing our best ball, these guys just need to step up". Bullsh**! Our defense isn't capable of playing good ball.

I'm sick of it. Seriously! Ever since Peyton got drafted we've been all offense, no defense! And when Our Offense can't play perfect ball, we loose! What we are seeing now in the Colts, is the offense is wearing down, running out of gas, etc. And now the defense needs to step up and can't.

I feel like the season's over. I'm still going ot watch the last 3 games, but I gotta bad feeling now, the colts are going to be 10-6, Jacksonville may win the division, and the colts MIGHT sneak in the playoffs on a wildcard!

Guess today was just "national 'lets humilate the big teams' day"... though Jacksonville really isn't a bad team, probably a better team with David Garrard starting instead of 'Mr. Thug' Byron Leftwhich....

Course today it wouldn't of mattered anyway. They hit the colts with their "kryptonite". really makes me sick that this has been a problem from week one vs. the giants, and in week 13, its still a problem.

I love 'em, and I'm not going to turn my back on 'em, but I am really really disgusted in my team right now. Superbowl? I'd rather just have them by some miracle not make the playoffs so they can spare the humiliation. If we meet San Diego, the team with the #1 rushing offense, the score will be like Colts 0, Bolts 99!

Well when I said they were the best, they were still winning...

And they are still capable of winning like that, well maybe not now looking at the post game injury report.

The offense is still the best in the league, however, the defense is the worst! I'm not mad at the colts as much as I am our stupid @$$ president bill polian for letting too many valuable defensive players go. He even admitted on the radio after the titans beat us that "letting go of David Thorton was a big mistake".

Anyway the way I see it, the offense is just running out of gas because they literally have to do all the work. The defense gave up like 375 yards of rushing! Thats a record!

Can you imagine what SD would do to the colts? LT with 8 TD's or something? Jeez...

I still love my team, but I think I have a right to be dissapointed and mad at them. Honestly I wish I was a fareweather fan, I might not be as stressed out about it right now. But unfortunatly I'm not, and I'm allready just seeing us waiting a whole another year again, and the whole offseason I'm going to be watching the colts like a hawk, and september '07 will seem so far away...

Anyway if theres one guy on the team I gotta give credit too its Peyton. Inspite of the rest of the team's meltdown, the guys still been playing his best game. Its sad that everytime the colts loose he gets the blame for it. And its also sad that everytime they loose in the playoffs he gets the blame for "choking". allright, 03 - yes he chocked, 04 - he played his @$$ off but his receivers couldn't catch a ball, 05 - the whole team put a lousy effort in, not just peyton. He probably could of done better if his linemen would of provided adequete protection...but thats all dungy's fault, not Peyton's. You rest your starters for a month, underestimate the team your playing, practice one day before the game, and feel you can win the game because "god is with this team" then well, thats what you get.

All things considered, I have to give them credit, they haven't done all that bad going without 4 major starters all season. For the most part, with the exception of 3 games, they've been able to step up and make crucial plays when the game is on the line.

Colts still have a chance this year to pull some upsets. With Bob Sanders back this weekend the defense is in the best shape its been all season, and with Dallas Clark back the Offense is complete again. Honestly all the defense needs to do is limit teams to field goals like they did with miami, and the offense needs to score on every possession... if the same team that went 9-0 before loosing can return, I'd say the Colts have a good chance.

Honestly this might be the best chance they've had! After all this is the first year the Starters haven't gotten a break, and the Colts are going into the playoffs full strength... I"m not ready yet to declare them the superbowl winners, hell I'm not ready to declare them winners of the KC game yet, but I think they'll definilty put up a fight saturday night

big names dont mean anything, check out their team stats, they are mediocre at best in almost all defensive aspects
both passing and rushing yards allowed they are ranked 18th
and 21st in avg yards per pass play allowed

to me those pass defense numbers look almost as suspect against Manning as Indy's run defense looks against Johnson
if the colts get up two scores early (not that tough for manning to do) then the chiefs will HAVE to pass the ball, and indy is great against the pass

and the defensive MVP runner up was champ baily by the way

But wait anyone saw the titans game last year where the colts shut them down 35-3...who was their qb then? Steve McNair? Yeah the game is going to be ALL baltimore...

My point: I really don't see how having Steve Mcnair now makes them any better than the team that didn't make the playoffs a year ago

eric99gt
01-08-2007, 12:09 PM
Then you obviously don't know football. With a defense like that all you need is a QB to manage the game well and you'll win. You keep running out Boller and his tendency to throw the INT and you'll realize this quick. You don't need to look any further the the Bears and Grossman to see this. I still think Indy can win though. Just gotta play D like they did against the Chiefs.

Cormaster
01-08-2007, 01:51 PM
well I ain't ruling baltimore out yet, but I am enjoying Indy being the underdog...they are flying way under radar. If Indy can play defense like that again, and Offense can step up better than they did against KC, Indy will be going to the AFC championship...

indi did beat baltimore pretty bad last time they played but that game is nothing like this game. first the defense was nothing lie this years defense. the Ravens are being compared to the 2000 defense. Steve McNair is not the whole team. Boller has good recievers but could never get them the ball and instead always threw INTs. With McNair. he can keep the ball and actually drive down the field and score points. McNair allows Heap, Mason and the other recievers to become a part of the game as well. I'm not saying that indi has no chance, I just think baltimore has the edge by a pretty good margin and i have a lot of money on this game. If the Colts defense stands up like last week, it should be a decent game.

Yeah I disagree. Its the #1 defense in the league, and they might have been able to prevent touchdowns, but they couldn't keep us from scoring. If field goals are how its won, than fine. After all the Baltimore Colts won a superbowl against the cowboys off field goals only!

A win is a win

anyway I don't feel like "peyton choked" at all! It's the #1 defense in the league and they kept you to field goals. Peyton tried everything he could but the best wasn't good enough for this defense, however, in the battle of 2 offenses, Peyton won. The fact was defensively the Ravens allowed the Colts to score 5 field goals, and offensively they weren't able to convert 3rd downs until near the end of the first half, and only produced 2 field goals. On the flip side of things the colts defense shut down the ravens offense and forced them to only 2 field goals, and offensivly, peyton found a way to field goal range no matter what.

Either way the Colts outplayed the Ravens, and pulled an upset that no one thought was possible, EXCEPT for those who acctually WATCH the colts from week to week. Analyst don't know ****! Seriously! And for those of you who don't believe, EVERYONE picked the colts to beat the steelers last year!

Anyway with this win, the superbowl is not that far out of reach... and if they don't make it past this game I'm still proud of 'em. They went into the playoffs expected to leave early, written off and over looked due to teams such as baltimore and San diego...now they are in the final four of the nfl! Can anybody say "2005 Pitsburgh Steelers"?

Anyway I expect the colts to come out on top. The way the Pats played yesturday they played to loose, and if it wern't for San Diego's poor coaching and horrible kicker, the Chargers would of come out on top. The Pats may be a deadly team in the playoffs, but when the colts are at home they feed off the energy the crowd gives them. The doom will be a scarey place for the Patriots! And IMO last years game has nothing to do with this years game. Last years game, the Colts had a month off and came out rusty. That was a poor decision by tony dungy. This year because of our division givin us hell we had to play till the end, now they have plenty of momentum approaching the AFC championship! At least we have 4 good teams left this year. I'm sorry but last year's playoffs consisted of Pitsburgh and Seattle making it by all their opponnets choking, and it really ended up being a lame superbowl... I mean I was thinking "shoot they might as well have Housten vs. Arizona" Superbowl XL = Superbowl Xtra Lame!

I thought it was quite good, Pittsburgh was a really good team last year, and they peaked at the right time. They could have been a good team this year as well, but they killed themselves with all the turnovers that resulted in loses at the beginning of the season.

Like it or not, but the Steelers have one of the largest, if not the largest fan base of any team in the NFL.

The way the last coulpe weeks have gone, there should be 2 good games this weekend, and a good, close superbowl.

That Lambardi trophey is as good as ours! Next week, Tony Dungy gets a gatoraide shower! Indy's going to the superbowl! I can't wait! Its going to be saturday all day of drinking, and sunday, tailgating, drinking partying, and then enjoying the chaos downtown. It's our year! I said it last year after the worthless steelers beat us, and so far the prophecy has held true! IT's our year! The YEAR OF THE BLUE HORSE! GO COLTS!!!!

Don't count your chickens before they hatch...the game still needs to be played

Hooray for the Pats.
The Pats probably should have lost Sundays game.
They scored when they had the oppurtunity to, and that's what counts.
Colts vs Pats should be a really good game. Looking foward to it.

Are you considering Reggie Bush a lucky rookie who just runs kicks back for touchdowns? If so, that is one of the dumbest statements I've heard in a while[Besides eagle fans saying they are going to Miami]. Reggie Bush is obviously a talented back and if you cant see that, then you might want to reconsider watching football.

^^ yup...Bush is nasty..

But it is a shame the giants arent still in it..Maybe if every star defensive player didnt get hurt we would win our games on lucky defensive plays against teams with 30% win records..

give me a break....They had a much better chance than Dallas did and I think you thought Dallas was going to Miami. Better run D and they would have been there.

Your still living on your high huh? If you were following some of my statements (im not sure which thread it was in) but i clearly stated that i think dallas was a good team this year, but not superbowl material.

Actually it was this thread... I think we have a really good team, super bowl material? Possible, but not this year, give us a few.

I get so sick of hearing about history... History doesn't mean sh*T, and for the record Bill Cowher retired after only earning 2 trips to the superbowl, and only won one, and the first the steelers got there by screwing over the colts!

So the colts lost 6 times now... doesn't everybody know that? I'm sick of hearing about it. Its got to the point where its not about the superbowl anymore its about winning it all just to shut people like you up!

Anyway whats sad is in a 14 year span Bill Cower took the Steelers to the playoffs every year except 1, yet through that span they showed no superbowl sucess and you don't hear people talking about the steelers choking the way the Colts do do you?

Honestly I don't look at this as the end even if the Colts loose tommorrow. Its the beginning. Dungy, Manning, and the rest of the team Now know how to be contenders in the playoffs, so if not this year, then definitly next. It'll happen eventually.

Um, no he didn't. Read the 4th paragraph.
http://www.steelers.com/team/coach%7C1

Plus he made it to the AFC Championship game 6 times with 2 superbowl apperances. The Colts have gone to the AFC Championship game only once and lost. That's pathetic from an offense that's always one of the best in the league for the past 6 years.

Anyway what I think we are going to see tommorrow is 2 evenly matched teams, who both worked hard to upset the top seeds to get here, so whoever wins, honestly deserves it. Do I think the Colts are better than the Pats? no. Do I think the Pats are better than the Colts? No. It's all about who can come out, execute the better game plan and win the game. I can't guarentee a colts win, but I can guarentee they aren't going down without a fight! Should be a close one...

congrats colts

only two things i can complain about (and i think any football fan would agree)
the colts got away with a pass interference in the endzone on caldwell
and the roughing the passer???? he didnt even move peyton's head at all, he just placed his hand on his helmet
to call that that late is rather ridiculous

overall a good game, great drives by manning

i wish the ****ing anouncers would have told me where all the injured pats were??
colvin out the whole second half, hawkins out for a whole quarter, ect... i never knew what happened to them

Yeah right now I'm on cloud 9, and to the patriots fans, good game. Honestly the game met all the hype it brought. When we were down 21-3 it looked pretty bleak, but for once the colts didn't panic. By half time I started coming to terms with the loss, but still had hope because when I thought about it, 2 of the TD's were luck (yes I consider an INT luck), and if the Patriots could have that kind of luck, well so could indy. ended up being a close nailbiter. Honestly I really couldn't say who played the better game, Manning, or Brady, they both were awesome.

It won't be New England's last chance at a superbowl I'm sure of that. Great game guys!

Well it was a great end to the playoffs after an awesome season... honestly this has been one of the best NFL seasons, and this might have been one of the best games I had ever seen! What started out as what seemd like a blowout for the pats turned into a total shootout! Considering it was Colts-Patriots, it almost seemed like an epic battle at the end of some Action movie! When Marlin Jackson got the interception we went nuts, I jumped up and nearly broke my girlfriends fan, started screaming "SUPERBOWL!" and then I went outside to smoke, and thats when I could hear everyone in the neighborhood going nuts. We got in our car and headed down town... Downtown was like the biggest party you've ever been multiplied by 10! Cars honking horns, people screaming, Drunk people in the streets, it was crazy. I've never seen anything like it! I was supposed to meet my friends at the Ugly monkey, right across from the dome. I had to park like a mile away and walk. While I was walking I crossed some crazy tailgaters, and they were screaming "YEAH YOUR TEAM SUCKS" at Patriots fans as they walked by. Considering the snow, there were snowball fights everywhere, but oddly enough nothing crazy happened, nobody died, etc.

And now 2 weeks away is just going to seem like forever...

i agree, no way in hell that play was luck, its not like it was a horrible pass, he just absolutely jumped it

the other touchdown (fumble recovery by linemen) was luck, but the colts had the same thing happen, so that cancelled out

I guess I just consider every INT luck because in my eyes true touchdowns are scored by offense. Anyway this thread's gone on long enough I think its time to start a new one.
