I made my stock tail lights clear so that I had to put red blubs in ..... no problem. But now it seems like I'm going through a ton of red bulbs. Questions: 1)Anyone else have this problem or am I the only one blessed with it? 2)Is there something I can do to stop it from fadeing so fast 3)Anyone know of any better brand of bulb than APC? Help would be great!

Replace them with LEd's. Thats what I did, check my sig for pics. Do a search for LED's , or for clear tails and you hsould see a loonnnggg thread about how its done.

Leds and stay away from APC bulbs. I have some from H.I.D that lasted over a year and now they are starting to fade. But that's the least of my worries. They ran $10 a peice though so I expected more time out of them. I think in the long run any colored bulb is going to fade. Especially brake lights because of the heat and ammount of time they are on.

What you need to do is get 2 jamstraight LED bulbs from autozone and then get two APC "chevy use" LED bulbs from a different store like GI joes and you'll have no problem. It should run you about $27-$30 bucks for everything.

Yes get the JamStraight ones. 2 of them will need to be modified in order for all 4 lights to lite up when braking. Check out page 2 on my site for information about this.
