Im not sure where this belongs but I lost my Remote and im stuck just using a spare key now. I havent had a chance to run to the dealer and get a new remote yet. Can anyone tell me about how much they will charge me for a new one? If this doesnt belong in this topic please by all means move it. Thanks

I would just snag one off of ebay, people sell them in pairs for 40 bucks

You better make sure that the codes like your FFC ID on your car and the codes from your new remote match or I don't think they will work together. Something I just heard and I'm not sure if it is true. Check with the dealership. Also you can buy them from a locksmith but they are expensive.

any ideas on about how much it would be for me to have one programed at pontiac if i buy the remote my self?

Most locksmiths do it and I'm sure it would be cheaper there than at a pontiac dealership. Cost I don't know, just call them to find out. I know it is easy to program them but I don't know how to do it or I would tell you.
