Hey guys I know most of us have had a LIM gasket but I was just curious how many of you have had a head gasket leak.

120,000 mi on the 3100 in the Monte and no hints of failing from the headgaskets.

If they did fail when I owned the car I'd probably have swapped a 3400 in.

the reason I ask is because my dad says it might be one but I wasnt sure how many GA's have had them

Mine's going in on thursday, only has 41,800km....extended warranty should cover it. (GM warranty)

Headgaskets on 3400's and 3100's are very rare to go out.

I bet your talking about your LIM not the headgasket.

Had the headgasket go out at 41k miles, warped the head too.;crap The LIM was fine, but was replaced anyway.
