I'm plannin gto get myself some headers very soon, like in the next 3 weeks (well ordering them in that time).

But because of the price of them I can't get exhaust at the same time. So I want to knowis it possible to get the headers and bolt it up to the stock exhaust until I get up the money to buy a performace one.

What will be the wiser.......

(Yes I searched for this too...If it is already answered just give me a link to the thread)

Thanks
Randy

get exhaust first, then headers. but yes, you can hook it up to stock exhaust. everyone usually gets exhaust first.

Headers will not bolt to the stock exhaust. You will have to weld a new down pipe to the front of the catalytic converter.

Getting headers and using a stock restrictive exhuast wont do you much good. Get exhuast first, then get the headers and a high flow cat when you get the money.

 i thought for sure it would bolt up if you got the flexpipe w/ it

It would be a complete waiste to hook them up to the stock exhuast.

Buy the headers and sit on them till you can afford the rest of the exhuast.
