My buddy has a Mustang Cobra GT and he just purchased some new chrome rims for his ride.. anyway i was wondering if his old 17 inchers from his car would fit my 2000 GAGT1? thanks

so you have 235/45/17's then right? do you rub at all when turning?

I had 245 in the front and 275 in the rear. The reason why I had 275's was because these wheels/tires were off of my Lincoln. The fronts never rubbed. The rear would rub when pushing the car hard in turns. I think you would be able to do 245's all the way around without problems.

Mine were 1998 Cobra Wheels. I don't see why the newer style ones wouldn't fit...

For sure the 98 rims fit. I looked at Summit and 98 Cobra rims are listed seperate from other years, so I'd double check!
