Boost Gurus

Hi there. Lately ive seriously been thinking about boosting my 2.2 ecotec. I think theres a few guys here that have done it and i was hoping they could answer some general questions, such as.

Where can i get one
what else do i need beside the kit
how hard is it to install it
where can i tune my ecu
do i need to replace any parts on my engine (running low boost 8psi or so)

Ive been doing some research but its overwhelming cramming all that information in your brain. I dont know everything about engines but i know about most things like fuel to air ratio, injectors, etc.

theres a thread about a kit. though no one here has used it. i bet you could probably find more info on this company at www.j-body.org. you could also find more info there on turbos and whatnot for the 2.2. also try www.quad4forums.com or www.ecotecforums.com (or something like that.) id keep searching and learn as much as you can. for a turbo, you can maybe find a local shop that could help build you a setup and tell you all the info you want to know. theres also the GM 2.2 SC that should fit and it would be pretty reliable with a warranty. you can just bolt that on without and other mods. as far as i know no one here has one on there GA. again check out the org for more info on that.
