Yea, thats right. I bought back my 99 Blue SE, a few more miles on it at this point. Its no longer sex, the rims and other beautification mods are gone, but its still fast, header exhaust and DHP, the intake got sold, but it wasn't worth that much power anyways. So, its just a daily driver now, I've got an older F-body for fooling around with, but its good to be back in the GA. I pick it up Monday. Ok, now back to your regularly scheduled program.

nice, what happened to the SVT? Oh well welcome back
As the summer went by, I realized for as cool as the SVT was, it wasn't enough, or it wasn't going to be enough, I was looking for a toy. So I decided I needed a toy car, and a daily driver. That, and the SVT was a ticking timebomb as far as an expensive repair, the car had 149k on it, and ran great, but and motor or tranny problem was gonna happen sooner or later.
So, I sold the SVT without taking a loss on it, and bought a third gen Camaro, an 86 Sport Coupe thats already built as a super auto-x and track car. Its got a totally aftermarket everything in the suspension, and handles like its on rails. The SVT was a great handling car, this car handles like a track car. (It unfourtunately rides like a track car too) Its also quick, its only a 305, but its been cammed, and it has pretty good supporting bolt ons. Better heads would take it over the top. That, and the drivetrain is all new, the motors a 20k old crate motor, and the rest of the drivetrain only has 10k on it. And all the reciepts are there, it was a very well built and cared for car, no expense was spared. It even has 4th gen leather interior, its awesome.

And then I needed a daily driver, so a I bought a 94 Escort dirt cheap, for gas mileage and easy repair. I've hit a deer with it, and been in a wreck with it already in the past 3 months, and now the tranny let go (5sp). So, its been not a fun experience, its just been a pain from day one, so my brother-in-law offered me my GA back for what I did for him, just taking over the loan. There is 130k on the car now, and just year left of 135 a month, so I said heck yea. So there it is.

nice camaro. You HAVE to get ride of the late 80s style rims. If you keep them you need a mullet. Those ealges are so old. You should look into the Z28 package ground effects too. Looks like a good runner. Drive down here and we will see how it holds up to the GTO.

Those are ROH wheels, and they are very, very nice. Its an 80's Camaro, getting away from the 80's look just isn't going to happen. I may get ground effects at some point, I think they would look great. Its not as good looking as my IROC, but its a much better car, its very well modded.

Vs. the GTO, nothing in a straight line. ;) I'd give you a trashing in the twisties though. ;) Straight line performance will come in the form of a 383 at some point.

Ok the wheels look better on a side view. I have never raced twisties. Nor do I plan on it. Those wheels were on a 95 firehawk i believe.
Now lets see that mullet :)
