Wait... I thought it was 35th anniversary? That would make the grand am... born in 1931?!
IIRC it was all pontiacs, not just the GA

I'm thinkin about gettin a cold air intake, a tornado/spiral max, and maybe some really good spark plugs maybe get about 10 more horses...maybe 20...the spiral max says between 10 and 35 HP boost for $60...so it's not bad

oh lord, do some searching on that tornado crap, everyone knows its a scam. i saw a report awhile back that actually proved it gave you worse gas milage/ power. IIRC it was on mythbusters too.

oh no...
But yeah, that was definitely disproved on mythbusters as someone else said... The CAI is a good idea though, and maybe the spark plugs.

or save the money, and get a bit of my freind JD (http://www.jackdaniels.com/).
I never modded my car, but I think JD makes me happier then the tornado ever would have. :)

Maybe, maybe not.
I chalk it up to an internet myth. Only a few people have had problems. Its hard to say that its the wires fault. The installer could have damaged the wire (small puncture, rip, tear etc) then experiance misfires. Then of course instead of blaming themselves for a poor install they blame the wires as being junk.
The reason i think this is becuase if you do do a search you will see its only a very few people who have had any problems and these people post about their bad experiance in every thread that taylors are mentioned making it appear as if alot of people have a problem with them. There are just as many threads/posts with people saying they have never had a problem. Its just easier to believe the negative than the positive.
I notice this to happen to alot of subjects on internet forums.
well i dont know a single person (off the forums anyways) that has had a set of wires last more than a year, and just heard about bad experiences on here as well.

well when i had a dso on the wires i had(borg warner) they showed induced voltage when u crossed wires, and it didnt matter which ones u crossed, but then i had some taylors on there and they showed the same, but less leakage
