i am looking to do some work on my car after x mas. i want to do some PandP on the manifolds. im just curious on which of the following i should procede with.
- pp the 3400 LIM and UIM.
- get the 3500 UIM and the 3400 LIM and pp
- (not sure if this is possible) Swap with 3550 LIM and UIM and pp
- or do the 3500 top end swap. and is this even worth the money.
thanx for any advice.

The 3500 top end is highly recommended by me, as far as I know I am the only one that has completed the swap in a grand am.
To put it into perspective, the 3500 heads stock flow better than the MMS stage 2 heads till 0.400" lift, ask any professional engine builder and they will tell you that low lift #'s are the #'s to look at.
Also the 3500 heads have been redesigned as well as the intake manifolds, proving a much better design over the previous 3X00 engines.

Yeah, if you're gonna do all that work and you have the money, definitely go with the 3500 top end swap. I'm contemplating doing this myself when I have a lot more time/money... Just not sure how I want to proceed on the P&P on the 3500 with boost.

"need some advice" is a worthless thread title. read around and try again, post in threads that already exist
