Well, with my new baby (born Thanksgiving Day!) I don't think I'm going to ever get around to finishing my headlights. Since I don't have a decent set of lenses and I'm scared that I'll screw up the GTS clear covers if I try to put them on I've decided to just sell the parts if anyone is interested.
I removed the lenses and painted the insides black (except for the reflectors.) The paint job is not perfect but once a lens is put on I doubt anyone will ever notice the few blemishes. The right headlight does have a broken adjuster but if you are replacing another set of lights then you should be able to use your old adjuster.

The lenses were hazy when I bought them without asking for pictures first (DOH!) A friend of mine swore he knew how to fix that with a bit of clear acrylic paint but the results were not as promised. The rubber pieces around the lenses is fine though.

Also up for sale are the clear GTS headlight covers I had intended to use as new lenses. Unfortunately, I'm not sure I can get them put on decently and I don't want to waste them on a botched attempt. I'm also not fond of the lack of amber reflectors since my military career could put me in any state with an AF base and the difference in local laws is a pain to keep up with. The lenses are in great shape and I never even put them on my car after buying them from another member on this board.

$50 for the headlights (with the original lenses)
$35 for the GTS covers
Or $75 for everything
Buyer pays shipping
(Don't be worried about the Germany address. Shipping is the same as sending from the states with my military APO address. Not sure what it would cost to ship to Canada but if anyone from there is interested then I'll look into it. Should be comparable to a shipment originating in the US.)
