I have the set of Helm Inc. Repair manuals for my old 2002 Grand Am. The manuals list the 2002 Grand Am and Alero on their cover, but obviously will be pretty much the same for other years too. This is a 3 volume set with great illustrations and schematics. If you can't fix something with these manuals, then you need to get out of the garage! These are the same manuals that the GM dealers use. The set retails for $130 and I thought they were worth every penny. They are clean, no creases or stains and I've bookmarked a couple common things that I had looked up (brakes, fuel filter, tranny filter, etc) I'd like to get $75 for them. I'll post pics up later, I'm at work right now.

Here's the pic of the three volumes.
Volume 1: General Information, HVAC, Steering, Suspension, Driveline/Axle, Brakes
Volume 2: Engine
Volume 3: Transmission, Body and Accessories, Restraints

Like I said, these are very good manuals and list step by step how to dissassemble and reassemble as well as troubleshooting and wiring schematics and pinouts. There are illustrations for about every operation in there

bump, I know everyone doesn't have manuals, Haynes and Chilton do not make them for 2001+, they just cover the 99-00 and it isn't nearly as in-depth or vehicle specific as these are. These will give you a completely separate pontiac and olds breakdown if there is ANY difference between the Grand Am and Alero for that topic

I'm very interested in buying those manuals. Hold on to them until after christmas, and I'll take them off your hands. I need time to set up paypal. Let me know if you prefer another way of payment. The zip would 23460 for shipping. How would $50 plus shipping sound? Let me know.

Let me get an estimate on shipping and I'll let you know. If I still have them after xmas they're yours. honestly I'd almost prefer a money order over paypal. Call me old school, but I still don't trust electronic fund transfers

I'll get the shipping quote this week, I forgot about it over the holidays. I'll get back to you soon. Let me know if you're still interested.

great, i kinda forgot too and I figured they were gone by now. anyways my offer still stands and payment will be in money order. paypal is a pain in neck, and I too prefer stuff in paper, especially when it comes to $. lookin forward to hear from ya.

Alright, I checked with the shipping department at work and found something I didn't know out. It's about $2 extra to ship to a residential address, so depending on where you want me to send it in VA Beach, it'll be $57 shipped to a business, and $59 shipped to a residential address. Let me know what you want to do

I agree, it was extremely helpful when I had my GA, but is nothing more than space on the bookshelf right now for me.

Alright, manuals are sold, this thread can be closed. Is there a way for me to close for sale threads when they are done, or do only Mods have this ability?

i wouldnt close the thread until the customer has them, and maybe they can leave a good feedback for you, then i would ask to have it closed, so there arent any loose ends
