I have been trying to lower the cooling fans' on/off temperature points with no success. It seems that for any combination I try, the system just uses the stock settings, even though the PCM takes the new settings. Using HP Tuners (on loan).
What am I doing wrong?

Sorry I had to chuckle after reading this. DHP has already fixed this issue for me and other N-body users. Looks like what your going to have to do is disable the Class II data fan support. I don't know if HP Tuners has that option or not. Until you do that, it doesn't matter what fan settings you use. It will always stay at the stock settings.

Thanks! No, that's the least funniest thing that's happened so far. There will be more chuckles down the road, I assure you!

Hmm... I didn't have a problem lowering the temps. Send me your hpt file and I can take a look. Might be able to help you out.

Thanks, but it's working now with the new version of HP, I bought my own a few weeks ago.
