head unit question

I am looking at this (http://ikesound.com/Prod_Details.asp?Prod_Id=294) head unit. I have two questions aobut it.

1. When it says CD text, will it display the name of the songs and stuff if I have burnt cds with that info on it? I ask this because a friend had an alpine that said CD Text but it didn't show anything when you put in a burnt cd.

2. Can I run two amps off of this headunit? (i.e. - amp for front speaker's, amp for back speakers)

Yes, ou can run 2 amps off of that head. It has to sets of preouts according to that spec list, so you should have no problem. As far as cd text, i'm not sure about burnt cd's, but a lot of commercial cd's have cd text on them, especially ones by sony, and you SOULD be able to program your own for commercial discs without cd text built in. That would go for burnt discs also. As far as reading cd text straight from a burnt cd, if it's encoded on there just like a commercial disc, i don't see why not. I know there's a way to burn discs with it, unfortunately I don't know how to do it myself. This is how it usually works with head units. Don't know about that particular unit, it could be different, but I doubt it. If i'm wrong, i'm sure someone will correct me. Hope it helps.
BTW that's not a bad unit. Pioneer has some pretty good stuff nowadays.
