I need to get an IPod. My sister in law is having her birthday soon and she is wanting an IPod. I don't want to pay for one at the store so I thought I would try Ebay and on here. No luck on Ebay, because the prices go well over $100.00. If you have one you are willng to sell it, please post pics of all sides and a price. Thanks.

ipods are costly. Look into a Sandisk Sansa e series. They are amazing, I have one and i have no regrets compared to an ipod. Its cheaper, plays video and has more storage than a nano.

if you have or know someone that has a sam's club membership, you could save a few bucks. not much, but a few dollars less is a few dollars saved.
i'm with everyone else on getting a refurbished or new one.

she's the one that asked me to do this. That and she is monitoring this thread, so that's why I ask for pics.

Oh well in that case I take that back. A lot of nano 2GBs go for around $100 on ebay.
i pods suck anyhow.. you have to use itunes.. go to circuit city/best buy and get a nice creative mp3 player.. same specs or better.. much cheaper, and you do not have to use itunes you can actually just copy your mp3s to it like a usb flash drive.
fyi: sandisk makes nice ones too

You don't have to be a wiz to use a sandisk. Open a program, convert, and it adds it automatically. Its really easy.
This is the series I was talking about.

I got an 8 gig off amazon for about 180. Much cheaper than a 4 gig ipod. Plus, they don't scratch as easy as ipods -_- lol
Here is them on amazon

Like I said the sansa is easy to use, affordable, can play videos at a pretty good quality, and is just a bit bigger than a nano. I wouldn't give it up for an IPOD, not a chance.
yeah id never buy an ipod.. id rather eat my own leg off

I wouldn't get an IPod either. I think they are more a "status" thing, or "high school" thing. But like I've said before I'm not wanting this thing for myself.

Ipods are ok, but people get really curious when you have something different. I have an 8 gig Sansa and people always ask me about it. Way more than people ask my girlfriend about her Ipod. Originality is the way to get status.
I partly agree on the Sansa MP3 players. While they are nice and alot cheaper then the iPod, the first time she goes to use it she probably will be slightly confused. I found it hard to use at first but after that it was straight foward and as easy and the iPod.
