Question for head unit and in-dash tv......

Is there room for both a head unit and an in dash monitor, I have a double din set up, but not sure if I'd need a certain instal kit?

Do you mean the units are separated? Or is it a single unit with a screen attached/motorized?

What do you mean by double DIN..the HU is or your radio bezel is double DIN size?

I got an idea, go to an installer, get it done for 100 bucks, that way when and if it doesnt work, its got warranty.

dont believe a screen and a head unit will fit in the same spot. You might have to custom fab something like magyver did and put the screen in the head unit spot and the head unit on the top of the hole on the bottem (bottem of counsel).

you best bet is to just buy a head unit screen that is either a flip out, or a double din.

^Yuup. Unless youre experienced in the custom fab area I'd stick to the double din or flip out.

That's what I got an in-dah flip out monitor, and that will fit in a single din, just the same size as my aftermarket headunit is a single din, the aftermarket install kit I have now has a pocket space below the unit, and I have seen where you can get an install kit that'll let you have both single dins, one on top of the other, in a double din hole...
