View Full Version : Headlight Problem

I just recently had a low beam on my passenger side go out, so I bought a new silverstar bulb (#9007) and it still doesn't work. Just a week earlier my drivers side went out and I replaced it but there was no problem with it not working. So I guess my question is, why is my passenger side not working??? The low beam only, the high beam still works. Does anyone have any input on this subject??

Check to make sure your connections are clean and dont have any corrosion.

A friend told me that the headlights are on fuses. Could it be that? I couldn't see it being a fuse though because if that was the case then they would both be out?!?! Right. But I will check on the connection thing though, you do mean on the harness for the light itself, right. Thanks for the tip anything else would be greatly appreciated!!

IIRC they are on seperate fuses so no they both wont be out if a fuse is blown.
Like Brandon said, check all connections and fuses first.

check to see if the actual bulb is burnt. check the bulb n teh otehr headlight, ifd it goes on then you know it's not eh bulb :) i'v ehad that happened to me once before and i ended up finding out the ones i bought were returned but not the same bulbs.
what some people do to save money
