Any canadian people with S&S headers?

I just wanted to know the shipping cost. Or if S&S ships the headers for free.
I'm getting headers next month (march 07) from 867.05(US) to canadian is 1014.00 but that changes everyday, and quoted shipping 130.00 to 236.00 just wanted to know if that is right..If it is the headers total is 1200.00 to 1300.00 (can).....

It's always plus shipping... and GST, PST, Customs Duty and the typical UPS "we'll rape you for $40+ if you don't want to clear it through customs yourself" fee. So your really looking at $1400-1500 CAD by the end as it's gunna cost a fortune to ship to Yellowknife.

You might want to price out custom made headers, if it's going to run you $1500 anyway- you can get a full exhaust for that amount probably (locally).

No muffler shops here, but theres lots 1500KM away(edmonton).....Im going to get the S&S either way....thanks for telling me the price range, I call S&S they ship UPS and they gave me the measurements 351.00(CAN) to ship + custom's fee.

let me just give you an idea to toy with... your going to get mabye 10 hp with headers.. at a cost of $1500 that's $150 per 1 hp. Are you willing to pay that much for such a small gain?

i thought with existing mods like cai and exhaust and a nice tune u could get like 15-20 hp out of headers.

If I were you there are ton of other mods you can do first before this to get that extra 10-20 hp for half the cost really. A P&P UIM and LIM would open things up quite a bit and is considerably cheaper.

Or get a cam and install it yourself.

mabye a total gain of 15-20 hp but not just from headers. Even if a CAI gives you 3 hp and costs that's $50 per hp. Way cheaper per hp then headers. IMO In his case it's not worth it. We gotta keep in mind that about $500 of that is shipping alone.

LOL, from 10 to 20 years big jump there! and I heard 8 hp gain on our engines!

Im also in the same boat as you, I am thinking of ordering from S&S. Customes will most likely be $100.

It all depends on your supporting mods. Gains have been from 26 to 8.

I don't want to sound like a ****...but I know I will. Are you made of money? Do you sell drugs up north? IMO I would never shell out the kinda money it will cost you for headers. HONESTLY, I love my car more than a lot of people but if you want to go faster, take that $1500, add it to the money for the throttle body, add on the cost of the CAI, and put it toward your new car in 10 years. Just my opinion, I'm a poor University student.

okay now. No I don't sell drugs!!.....and I'm not buying headers anymore. and the wage of work here is alot more than most of canada.....My car loan is 322.00 a month Insurance is 256.00 a month.....my rent with me and my GF is 500.00 a month.....do the math, and You say your poor.....

As far as the selling drugs thing, well that's just low IMHO and he should be B slapped but he's from Burlington what do you expect? LOL.

Just an thought but if you have the cash why not wait for a set of used TOG or S&S and snag them cheaper, that way you could afford a few more goodies like TB, pnp UIM and LIM,cam, headwork ,etc??

Hey, I'm a nice guy, I'll admit the drugs was low....but no hard feelings. He asked for my opinion and I gave it, it's a forum and IMHO, S&S headers are great but the cost to get them here to Canada is just too much.

As for your comment about Burlington and people from there....what I said about drugs offended one person, you just generalized 350,000 people, who's lower?
