oh, forgot to mention it... i removed the ram air from my car and my friend is the one who broke the piece under the ram air shroud. i have no idea what the name of it is.
EDIT: it actually helps hold the front bumper on with clips that can be seen when you open the hood.

o ok, you mean the entire panel that has the headlamps attached to it? or the plastic piece that funnels in the air to the ram air intake tubing, it is pieced together at the front of the bumper right by the hood striker by a push pin. you can have a look at the pic i put up on this thread and tell me which # it is...http://www.grandamgt.com/forum/showthread.php?t=66694

i think hes talking about the air baffle. Basically the plastic part you're touching when you stick your hand through the nostrils on the front bumper.
Correct? it's either called the air inlet splash shield or air baffle

well thats the prob, there are 2 pieces that make that up, there is the big piece that goes from there to right above the A/C evaporator, and it also helps with the side shields to funnel the air into the rad/ac evap. then there is the small piece that funnels the air from the RA ducts up and into the ram air ducting for the air box

it's the piece just under the front bumper. i have taken the ram air shroud off and this piece is just under that. it's long piece and really thought that 3 was it. that's the best i can explain it, you know what... i'll take pics. if it's more that one piece that fits my description that should help. thanks.

ok so its the plastic piece that is right under the RA ducting and the panel that says ram air by pontiac, then i know what you are talking about. it looks to be part # 79, which is the air deflector for the RA. pn 22647827. if thats what you need then let me know, i happen to have my old one off my car, in good shape, a few scratches and a little dirty(ill clean it though)

ok that is the header panel, it would be #72...that one is pn 22619076, they are kinda expensive, but i would replace it due to it being broken in more than one spot...they are kind of on backorder right now, unless your dealer has one, also you can get an aftermarket one on ebay, but i really dont recommend those

oh, how hard would it be to put one on? getting a new front bumper (that seems easy enough) and thought that i could put this on while i'm at it.

not nard at all. if you get the GM one, it will have all the clips to hold the front light wiring harness on it. and also, its just a few bolts, some push pins and thats it.
