lol i was told the same thing when i offered to sell a pre orderd 360 slip for 800.. nobody wanted it
so i sold the 360 itrself for 2300 on Ebay the day it came out...


Halo 3 will be harder to get, MUCH less copies being let out the first month.. and it comes out around Christmas...

no, it wont. there is a strategy for creating an intentional shortage for a system.
there is no way MS will allow halo to be sold out anywhere. they have too much competition right now for them to miss out on any money from one of the few cash cows with a release this winter.

You're nuts. Game shortages are never even close to system shortages. It's easier for them to crank out 5 million copies of a game than it is to crank out 5 million systems.

They will be prepared, especially for a game like Halo 3 that they KNOW is going to be huge.

And no, I'm not interested. :)

lol. First of all they are releasing this game in 3 different versions. Also, Halo was the most widely shipped game released for Xbox. This game will be produced in massive quantities to INSURE that every player gets one. Reserving games is a whole bunch of BS they hold onto your money while they play around with release dates and delay games when you can just walk in the store and buy it when it comes out. I have never had trouble finding a game, not to mention gamestop is NOT the only place that sells games...


seriously, saying you'll get $400 for this game on ebay is pure stupidity, im sorry. You'll get what you payed for it, maybe less.

i pre-order games, but only so i can pay for them early. i have never seen a game shortage. even san andreas had too many copies at the store. i had to wait in line to get my pre-order the night before release, but there were about 200 copies left over according to the clerk.
same with burning crusade. lines around the block to pick up pre-orders, but twice as many copies left over afterwards.
