I finally got all of my sc/t parts painted and put on and I have to say I am really enjoying the results. Plus, I have never seen a grand am of this color with this hood and spoiler. Here are the pics. Really makes me want to put my rims back on.

its emerald green and this color came in the gt, but only in 1999. however, none of these colored cars had the sc/t package, which i know have :)

i think the sc/t package is just the hood and spoiler. the ground effects is above and beyond the regular package.

on a side note, yea i have looked at that green grand am. it looks really nice, but some things i would change.

Lookin' sweet. Definitely the only one I've ever seen in that color with the Sc/t. It is a rare color, but it's a very nice color. Like those exhaust tips too. Someone had one that color with the above kit on it at GAP3. (forget the s/n now, but he sold it long time ago)

That always kind of bugged me that GM never kept the cool colors for this car. You couldn't get the dark metalic gray or the dark blue either until later years and only on the SE's, but we've seen people do GT conversions on both those colors and they look awesome! That's why I got white. I didn't want black or red, and I didn't like the polo green or gold, and that was my only other option in 2000.

I'd get the same silver mesh that's in the bumper and put that in the hood. Silver looks good on green, and you've got the shiny exhaust tips and chrome wheels... kinda all goes together. :)

actually the sc/t kit is very smooth imo and matches the curves of the car perfectly.

Horrible idea. It would stick out way to much. Your best bet is to paint it green. Look at Michslpgt's car. He had the SC/T kit painted to match the car. It turned out real good. Just sucks that his color doesn't match mine. It's still sitting in my basement.

I know in 2000 my color was called Spruce Green Metallic, but I thought the 99's had the same name. Now the 01's I think had it called Polo Green Metallic and the shade did change slightly. This may be the reason why his car for some reason is close to mine but a little darker. Just enough that if I put the kit on now, it would stick out from the rest of the car. It's definitely not black.
