I would like to go over my repair history with my '00 GT. I am the second owner and bought the car with 19.5k miles in October 2001. It now has 115k on it.

today 07 Front & rear rotors & pads, 02 sensor (WAHHHH!!)
recently 07 Surpentine belt
12/29/2006 Alternator
12/08/2006 Power steering pump, power steering belt
01/13/2006 Front hub bearing
01/10/2006 Plugs, wires, pcv valve, fuel filter, air filter (full tune up)
10/26/2005 Struts, strut mounts
summer 05 Warranty replacement of pads
05/03/2004 Rear pads & rotors, calipers
03/24/2004 Fuel pump
12/01/2003 Water pump
11/06/2003 Rear pads & rotors
07/28/2003 Power steering pump
02/31/2003 Intake manifold gasket
01/09/2003 Fuel filter, surpentine belt

and I'm sure there's more to all that.

I would just like some input on owning an older car with high mileage...if this sounds about right or not.

Everything sounds just about right... except for the power steering. That sounds odd that you had to do it twice. And having to do the rear pads 3 times and the front only once.

The LIM, hub bearing, and brake rotors are common problems with the car. The other stuff is likely to fail in all vehicles.

For the most part that is pretty common stuff to have to replace for an 8 year old car.

thanks...i just do what the repair guy says needs to be replaced.

Oh okay. Yeah that sounds pretty normal, except the power steering IMO.

put a 6 in front of the hub bearings and it'd still be normal, at least for the ga. Get used to it.

Sounds about right to me..

I have done .. on my 99 GAGT (134k miles)

PS pump
Belt (several times)
Brakes (pads and rotors)
Water pump
Plugs and Wires

Everything you've done sounds normal to me... pretty much...
