I'm wondering if I installed a nitrous system with a 75 shot and a 10lb bottle, how long would that bottle last? How many 1/4 mile passes would a GA get without the psi dropping too far?

I have no clue but there's gotta be a measurement somewhere of how much "gas" is used for such and such HP shot. You'd be able to figure it based on that.

Edit-

Looked it up for ya.

Q: How long will the bottle last?

A: This largely depends on the type of nitrous kit and jetting used. For example, a 125 HP Power Shot kit with a standard 10 lb. capacity bottle will usually offer up to 7 to 10 full quarter-mile passes. For power levels of 250 HP, 3 to 5 full quarter-mile passes may be expected. If nitrous is only used in 2nd and 3rd gears, the number of runs will be more.

So figure 14 to 20 for 75shot

Q: How long does a bottle last?
A: It depends on bottle capacity and the size of the nitrous shot being used. On the 75hp setting, a 10 lb. bottle will last around 10 quarter mile runs. On the 125hp setting the bottle will last around 6 runs.

Quoted from the zex site

lonewolf: I was gonna post that too but figured he was going for something more like a 75 shot

Eh. I just googled it and that was the first answer near the original question I found so...I left it at that.

yeah i read that too.. just wondering what people's expeirences have been on a LA1.. or would a difference in engine make a difference at all? as long as only one jet is being used, a 75hp jet is a 75hp jet

engine size doesn't determine how much juice you're spraying. The jet size determines how much is used.
