Is this as good or better then the stock cd reciever for the 99 model Gt? Will it work with my steering wheel without the need of a swi-x?

I don't know how good this one is compared to older ones. I think the advantage is the MP3 capability. 01+ GA's have different radio bazels, so I don't think this will work on your GA.
