I love watching montages like that just because it brings back all the memories, both good, bad and horrible, all at once.
Out of my company, 4 guys got sent home. 3 were WIA and 1 was KIA. I will never ever forget that day. Plus being a medic its the most rewarding and toughest thing I have ever done in my life.

These are the stories you'll never hear about on the news cuz they're too busy bashing this war to see the real truth behind it all.
God Bless our troops.
We're doing the right thing.
Nuff said.

I've seen my fair share of these videos, but this one takes the cake imo. It's extremely powerful, well made, and the pictures they've chosen are better than most I've seen. It encompasses the military better than anything else I've ever viewed.
So often I find people thinking of soldiers strictly as killers (or in some twisted minds, murderers) and nothing else.
The military for the most part is a support system, killing is a last resort. They provide medical assistance to those that don't have it, the bring food and water to the starving, they build homes and schools and businesses for the deprived. But this is often overlooked and ignored, leading to depreciation for our men and women who have sacrificed everything, including their lives, inorder to make our lives easier and the lives of other innocents easier.
One of my main reasons for joining is to help others, not to kill. To save a life would make it all worthwile. Those men and women doing it right now have stronger moral fiber than any can claim to have, because they are willing to sacrifice it all not to help themselves but to help others.
To be that Selfless is to be the Greatest there is.
