View Full Version : Back Seat re-install

I am trading the Grandam in next week and I pulled the back seat off to make sure nothing had fallen in behind. (I found $5.00) However I can't for the life of me figure out how the thing clips back in. There are two black clips that attach to the seat bottom but I am not sure how they fit onto the body.

heh, good luck, they are a bitch, I gave up and just left the seat sitting on top.

lol I had the same problem. IIRC you just have to put the clip on the actual seat and line them up with the body. I was trying to put them on the body then line the seat up on top of them for the longest time.

I guess I will go give that a try

Ok... Hard to describe, but I'd be able to show you in two seconds.
Most of the time when you rip off the back seat, the clips will stay on the car and not the seat. To put the seat back, you need to put those clips back on the seat part first, then when you push down it will stick back in their slots on the car.
Take a pic and I can try and show you

When I had the cars code read for my other problem I asked one of the body shop guys how to put it back in and you were right it took two seconds. Its easy to do just hard to describe.
