meh, you only doubled my MAP kPa.....weak. lol
i dont know much about boost but how many kPa could you go before your manifold "asplodes"? (in theory)

depends how much diamond plate I have on the car...
Are you trying to ask how much boost will it probably take until I destroy the motor?
The intake manifold is a 2.3HO unit, the exhaust manifold is a log piece from ebay that's meant to mount my turbo, my headgasket is stock, and that's going to be changed very quickly very soon while i do my clutch.... so the only thing to asplode would be when something breaks.

what i am asking is, how much boost before....

also, how many kPa = 1psi of boost?

200kpa is approx 15lbs...
I don't know how much till danger to manifold, I'll let you know when I blow the non-existant seals on my intake.

102kpa is atmospheric pressure 14.7psi.....
150kpa is 7psi above atmospheric, or as we say on the boost gauge.. 7psi
205kpa is 15psi... my guesstamation in the above post was incorrect, but damn close... so breakin' it down.
102kpa = 0psi
150kpa = 7psi
205kpa = 15psi

So 6500 RPM is a pretty nice high number. Do you have a rev limiter or you just hanging it out all to dry??

I have my actual limiter set at ........... 6600 or 6700rpm.. the actual number escapes me.
