I am thinkin about puttin underglows on my car. I know some people hate them, some people love them. Was wondering what you guys think, color wise. My car isnt a color that seems to look good with other colors. Exp : black and white, Blue and black, Red and white, you get my point, anyway. ANy thoughts of what color to get? Also, i plan on changing the interior lights to blue.

White or blue, but I wouldnt do it at all. I put underglow on my car last winter and took it off a week later. I felt like an import fanboy just knowing that it was on my car.

i vote no too, but my friend has a similiarly colored car and has yellow underbodies. the colors go together pretty well.

Hmm. yellow is a thought, the main thing keeping me from doing it is that ive never seen a car my color with underglows, tons of white cars, red cars, black cars, never this shade. Maybe I'll just stick to interior lighting.

mmmm maize and blue are always a good choice :angel

I think white might look hot- I would say do it, but only because its a fun learning experience. I did it on my GA and I never used it, but i learned a lot and was proud to have done it all myself. Besides, it's a fairly cheap mod anyway.

Oh yeah- why don't you just get a multicolor one? Then you don't have to choose :boogie:

Its a tie between yellow and white. Maize is a yellow color isnt it? Multi color is extremely ugly IMO

I've seen some really good multicolor kits... they have improved in the years, IMO. Oznium is good (and a site sponsor); I think mine was streetglow or liteglow

Jake

i HAVE LED light kit under mine, and i think it looks sweet, yes some cars dont look good iwth them but i think GA's look awesome with them. purple might look cool too, you might say eww purple but that color looks cool as underglows .. but if your thinking yellow or white id go with yellow, multi color might not be too bad, i saw a green startus with a multicolor kid but i think he cheaped out because it wasnt very bright and also had a few ugly colors.. heres a picture of my car at night, in the snow i havent taken any new pics since the snow melted, but i will http://img372.imageshack.us/img372/4209/ledkitsnowil2.jpg

Yea those do look good. If I am going to get them I'm not going to buy a cheap crappy kit. And probably will buy the multi color kit from Oznium i think its like close to 220$ or something. http://www.oznium.com/inferno/action/page3 The yellow F-150 at the botto mleft is the colors I would want and I think that would look good.

the kit on the yellow truch cost much more than the 7-color kit. If your only going to leave it on a set color, just get the one color you want.

flowmaster 80 ;) :applause:

yea but Id rather the pipes be 2.5" like the pacesetter. The flomaster 80 was my first choice, but how expensive will a pipe be between the cat and muffler, Plus i gotta buy tips, plus pipes from the muffler to the tips.

I c. What tips did u use? I think quad tips look stupid on an SE. So im debating on tips still.

I don't see GT conversion on your future mod list. Did you give up on that? If you didn't, consider how the tips you choose will look with the GT bumper. And if you won't do the conversion for a long time or you did give up just tell me to stfu.

magnaflow tips, and dual tips look pimp on SE's. single tip exhaust looks retarded on anything but a truck.

Yea the Gt conversion fell through, I had a guy who was gonna sell me the bumpers and sideskirts cheap and that fell through, and getting the ribbed panels didnt work out either so meh, o well I guess im gonna have to keep reppin the SE's. I guess those tips do look pretty nice, Everything will have to be put on hold because I had some problems at work an am unemployed as of last week.

Jake
04-06-2007, 12:12 AM
Haha, yea Ive been lookin around, The inferno kit is nice, that would be the one I would buy if I wanted multi color, I think I may just go white, im not sure. As far as the rims go, they will never leave my car :D actually, today I just made the last payment on them so they are mine, ALL MINE! :D :D
EDIT : as far as work is concerned, Im only out of work for 2 weeks, and have no bills other then car insurance anyway :D With this time off I'm going to convert my interior lights to blue. and maybe more interior lighting

Ive seen them all :) I think it is kinda weak, the tubes are very short, only 4 feet for each side.... Not big enough :)

sickness
04-06-2007, 12:11 PM
Uh....most kits have 4' tubes.

The SG neons are 4.25', SG multi color is 4', and the PG kits are around 4.1'.

I put a bad ass underglow LED kit on my car from www.euroeffects.net Has like 12 different patterns... One color tho.

Jake
04-06-2007, 02:52 PM
Yea I was just saying 4 feet is not long enough, id rather get the kit that has 51" tubes for the sides.
(4 feet 3 inches)

bryanw0087
04-06-2007, 03:06 PM
mine are 48" on the sides it has 15 patterns, 2 that go with your music and 13 regular ones, and also has steady on
