I recently purchased a rear strut tower bar to balance out the affect the front STB has on the handling of the rear end. Only one problem...how do I install it?? If it were just a couple of bolts I wouldn't be posting this...but what are those (for lack of a better term) "circular things" next to the bolt in the picture?

you unscrew the two strut tower bolts and slip the brace on...whats so confusing about that? the third bolt w/o the nut you leave alone.

edit: as for the huge black plastic deal, its juts a cover. i took mine off and threw them away.

its easy, i'll fit nice and snug around the unscrewable nut.....I put mine on at the gas station.

If I had two tower bolts I wouldn't care. But all I have is one on each side. THAT is the problem...

pic?......is it the PFYC one?

Its not the PFYC one. I need only two bolts on both sides to put it on. But on the towers I only have one removable nut and two circular things. Its like that on both sides.

Hope that clears up any confusion...

there are three bolts, two of which have a nut on them. check behind that black plastic piece and you will see the third.

Did check. Look at the first pic. Just to the right of the plastic piece is another circle not a bolt.

-Edit-

Better pics of the towers and bar tomorrow.

you dont remove the bolts...

remove the nut on each side.. use washers under the bracket to bring the bracket up to level... you will need to purchase nuts to go on the bolts that are fed through teh bottom....

i cant remember what size nuts you need but if I can I will post pics of mine installed....

TNL rear braces install by wedging the brace against those threaded circular sections and then reinstalling the nut to hold down each side...

if you cant get it dont worry cause we will get it for sure when I detail your ride....

BTW Everyone- this brace is from an ebay Co. called "driving gear"

I figured there had to be a somewhat easy solution...

Thanks

FYI, the one nut on each strut is the same size and pitch as the bolts.
