Well, got a few underhood details done this weekend..including a full detail inside and out on the bosses E55 AMG. The other underhood detail was a "never been cleaned" 97' Chrysler Concorde.
A few pics to share the fun:

For the cleaning step, I use a citrus based biodegradable cleaner/degreaser from a company called 3D Products in a 4:1 dilution(with water). For any really bad areas, a 1:1 can be used but I like staying light and easy when possible. Some gentle brushes, microfibers (and toothbrushes for small areas.)
Afterwards, a leaf blower to get alot of the excess water out combined with a microfiber toweling off.
Finish with Meguiar's Hyper-Dressing diluted down to 4:1 (w/water cause its water based) to give it the nice satin showroom look...not greasy.

Thanks guys....
The car was the most expensive thing I have detailed...its one of my bosses cars.
The Saleen is one of my other bosses cars...in addition to his STS-turbo'd Trailblazer SS, a KB-blown Lightning, a 10 sec Cobra-motored Mustang GT AND a V6 turbo Mustang that runs mid 12's on a stock V6.:) I have made the assumption that he makes more money than I do.
Sorry about having to take the other picture down...I deleted it out of the Photobucket(she might get pissed and you know how that is).

I always ask the owners if i can take pics of my work on their cars for internet display and my own personal portfolio. 9 times out of 10 they dont want me to do that. Even after i assure them that their liscence plate will be deleted and their names/location will be kept classified. I still ussualy get a big NO lol

That looks awesome, you got me motivated to try some of those products, techniques out on my engine, it really needs a good clean.
