This car is a friend of mine's he had me to come over to look at it because he just baught it. Its an '06, but let me tell you, it didnt look like it. I think it was machine polished; it had terrible marring and swirls. I didnt spend a whole lot of time on it but i finished the hood and the two sides before he had to go to work. Its far from perfect, but 1000X better than what it was.

Niiiiiiice dude!
Looks like rotary holograms all over it. Some monkey with a rotary really hurt that paint.

The tC's have big paint issues, IIRC.

Wow. I didn't think paint could look that bad after a year. You did an awesome job getting it back together. That last shot could be a good before/after pic for the products you used. :)

its good, but it was a rush job, if it was my car and/or i was getting paid a normal price to do it i could have made it flawless.
Anyway i never was in a tc, but there actually really cool cars. There is an ipod connect in the center council and has the ipod interface on the stock radio along with many other random features.
And yes the paint is terrible, but only on the groud effects kit. Im guessing it didnt come factory and it was painted like **** at some random place.

Hell of a turn around already it looks like. It is amazing what a little polishing will do to the look of a car. People don't believe it sometimes until you show em and then their jaws just drop. Best feeling ever.

That would explain the rotary holograms then. Of course the dealership could have done that when it came in off the truck from the factory.
I heavily recomend doing freebies for freinds and family. It gives you experiance with different types of paint systems and you also hone in your techniques and process's. You might have to eat the cost of product at first but its worth it for the experiance you will gain and getting your name out there.
Muhaha, I know where you live now =D
Or at least where this car was parked at the time :p
Intarweb stalker! Yay. =)
Oh, I'm not sure if that ground effect paint missing could be from a crap paint job or not.
It could just be from all the pot holes and the crappy state of our roads and stuff, the guy who owned it before could have ran a little low somewhere and it ate the rear part of his car.
Which is the reason why I have no ground effects on my GT =(

What equipment you use? PC 7424? Which pads? What polish? I'm looking to grab some pads and more polish to compliment my Meg #80.

yeap the pc 7424 with the yellow cutting pad and the white pad. On his car there really wasnt a need for a finishing pad (like i said if it was my car i still would have). I used the optimum polishes:

but like i said, i only used the red and the gold polishes.
