well i just bought a tuned computer from pfyc about 3 weeks ago and just got time to install it. when i did the relearn it started after the first time of 15 mins and the turning it back for 30 it started. it was fine for a sec then the idle started moving up stoped a 3000 and thats where it stays. I was just wondering if anyone has had this problem. o i havent done a case learn with it yet but i was worried about driving it like that to get it done any help would be really nice.
Thanks Ryan

thats not case learn...that is prob IAC or TPS function, it may be a bad comp or may be that u have a bad or stuck IAC or TPS...thats what i can think of at the moment, or they may have programmed the wrong bin into it, or gave a bad number...u may need to do the idle relearn also, i had that prob once...dont remember how it goes though, ull have to ask maybe spruce or someone

Try the relearn procedure, I have my computer for about two years already and onece in a while I have to do the re-learn procedure because the car starts but when I let the gas go the car will shut down and it seems like the cam is not on the right position and that's when I do the re-learn procedure and it work at the first try after that.
SECURITY RELEARN PROCEDURE
In the event that your vehicle fails to start after installing the DHP 1.0 PCM, you will need to perform the Security Relearn Procedure. This procedure allows the PCM to function properly in your vehicle. Follow the steps listed below completely.
Attempt to start the car by turning the key to the Start/Run Position.
Observe that the vehicle fails to start and that the security light is illuminated.
Release key to the 'ON/Accessory' Position. (DO NOT turn key to the 'off' position.)
Allow the vehicle to sit with the key in the 'ON/Accessory' Position for no less than 11 minutes.
Turn key to off position and allow the vehicle to remain in the 'OFF' position for no less than 30 seconds.
Repeat #1 - #5 for 3 cycles.
On 4th attempt, car should start.
NOTE : Since this is a fairly long procedure, I would limit all electrical sources, such as disconnecting headlights, to prevent discharge of battery.
NOTE 2 : It is SAFE to wait LONGER than the allotted time, but it is not safe to wait less time. I.e. 12 minutes instead of 11 minutes should be safe; however, waiting 10 minutes instead of 11 minutes is not safe.
Properly executed, this procedure should take approximately 35 minutes to complete.

he isnt hacving the no start prob and its not a cam timing issue as far as i can tell, it seems to be more sensor/relearn related

Can you put your stock computer back in and see if the problem goes away? If so then I think you got a wrong bin file in the computer.

^^^yah sounds like it to me(bad bin), we both know that the 3800 guys dont know what to use very much when working with the 3400, its like a guy from our diesel class looking at a gas engine, about the same as a monkey f****n a football.
the IAC is located right on top of the TB sticking out, it may be stuck open with some tar inside the intake, ive seen that happen...take it out and take the TB off and clean it, then put it back on and use dielectric grease on the connections. if ur IAC is bad, or ur TPS i have both on a FS thread for like $10 each, they are new, and from the parts store they are fairly expensive

when i put my stock 1 back in its fine but this is the second computer that i have got from them i dont see how they could mess up the bin twice hmm the only problem when the stock 1 is in is the service engine light is on and if i go up a ok sized hill it will jump back and forth in rpms tell it finaly shifts its not in the tranny. Im lost on it the first comp i got from them did the same thing thats why i sent it back so. i guess when i get a day ill rip off the throtle body and clean it hope i can get it fixed soon its warm here and ive got ppl wanting to run me and i really would like to get it in.

yah i meant power tuner...i would just ask around on the board here and see who might be able to help you out, maybe a comp swap to see if it does it on someone else's GA
