Hello , just posting up some pictures of the car since I promised collegekid I would after I got his rims . I also posted some new additions to the car , including OEM Navigation (it came out of a CHEVY Surban ) . It tracks excellent plus it intergrates fine with my I-POD thank to the AUX-POD.

Also shown are the KATZINS leather Interior pieces with Door panel inserts . I also have the leather shift booth and arm rest cover , thanks to redline goods , I really like those pieces , along with a leather automatic MOMO shifter .

I have the mustang gas cap ( with the mustang logo removed of couse) and painted it to match the car . I think it looks pretty sharp with the metal stubby antenna . In the trunk it shows my nitrous tank and subs ( 12 inch directed subs ) . I also switched my exhaust from a dual setup to a single flowmaster setup with Magnaflow tips .

I also put on the black headlights for now until I recieve my "other" set of lights (hopefully this year) .

here are some shots of the wheels (sorry for the crappy pictures I can't use a digital camera . lol . )

It is a stock headunit out of an 04? I think Chevy Surban . I got it for $300 US on E-BAY with nav. disc but no antenna . I purchased the antenna new for $50 US , again from e-bay.

Sorry but those rims kill it.

Why buy black headlights with the orange reflector? totaly defeats the purpose.

I'm really diggin the whole car, very tastefully done. The headunit only cost 350$ huh? If I could find one for that much it would be a direct swap on the Monte...hmm...

I got lucky because it was a direct plug in . i just needed to carry the car to a dealership to unlock the radio and program in the vin .

Ohh and as for the orange reflector . Cops up here will find any reson to pull you over and give you a ticket . And since clear corners are illegal here . ORANGE REFLECTOR FTW !!! lol .

Yes I do actually . From what I remember :

Ported UPPER and LOWER Intake Manifolds
LS1 VALVE SPRINGS
RSM RACING THROTTLE BODY
RSM RACING POLYURETHANE ENGINE/TRANSMISSION MOUNT
Warm air K&N Intake
TOG Headers
MAGNAFLOW HIGH FLOW CAT plus High flow Magnaflow Resonator with 2.5 inch piping all the way to the Muffler .
Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator
65 shot Zex DRY nitrous with purge and bottle warmer
Powder coated black 160 amp alternator with lightened RSM alternator pulley
MSD plug wires with MSD Coils
Upgraded the wiring ( thicker gauge wiring )
B&M Transmission Cooler
DHP reprogrammed PCM
Manual over ride for AUX. fans

Suspension :

Front and rear Speedbuilt Strut Tower Braces
Speedbuilt front and rear sway bars with polyurethane bushings
KYB shocks and struts
Eibach springs
Full Baer Claw brake system ( 12 rotors in the front and OEM sizing in the back )
Stainless steel braMiglia Millia ke lines (all the way around)
18 inch Migla Milla wheels with Goodyear eagle F1's for Summer
18 inch Axis Alerga sp? wheels with Michelin Alpine Sport for winter
Plus the battery is moved to the trunk . I don't know if that one counts though for anything .
From what I remember . This is most of the performance stuff .

ehhh, I dont think I like the rims on your car. They are okay, but I think they would look better on black GA, or of course a BMW or something of that sort. But overall, very nice car.

Definately got the euro look man. They look huge in those fender wells. The multi-spoke design makes them look bigger than they actually are. Congrats, that's one clean interior!

That's the RKsport kit correct. Always wanted to know wht it looked like on a 4 door. Been thinking about getting it, but I was to paint the car a dark blue, maybe a viper blue.

Very Clean looking ride man, Props.

That car makes my mouth water! Nice work! As for the GPS.. I would guess that the buttons light up green/white at night and not red correct? Where did you mount the GPS antenna? I have free access to a Tech2 and have thought about doing this for a long time... just wasnt sure on the logistics.

thanks!

The buttons light up green all the time actually , but it still looks good . I mounted the GPS antenna inside the dash behind the radio .

Caraudiodave isn't that your old sub box?

SikMindz
05-09-2007, 05:52 PM
Similar idea but I think Dave sold the sub box to LukeD when LukeD bought the entire GA. Not sure though...

does that shifter have brake release on it like a stock shifter and how hard was it to install. Also did you make the door inserts your self or order them, whats the material. Just askin, cause I'm in the middle of my doors for my silver ga, and I'm thinkin black or silver leather for the doors.

kudos on painting the gas cap. the kit makes the rims look tiny. i bet if they were bigger theyd look better.

the shifter isa straight swap for the orginal , not sure about the brake release ? I think that came in older models , not sure though . the door inserts came as part of the package with the seat covers , they are leather .

i think hes talking about the knob on the side of the stock shifter that you have to push in to make the shifter move. you would have it. so you just can move the shifter then?
