I have never really cleaned the tires because Im affraid of the foaming cleaners and stuff on my chrome wheels. What do you guys use?
Also, I am looking to get a tire shine product that hardens on the tire and DOES NOT SPRAY OFF even after sitting a few hours. What do ya got for that?
Thanks guys.

For tires i ussually just use simple green and a tire brush.
As far as *sling off* there isnt any product that wont do that. What happens is it gets into the raised areas of the tires and when you go to drive it slings out of those areas. After applying *any* tire shine you should waite a good 30 minutes and then wipe your tires down with an old clean bath towel to remove any excess product that may have gotten trapped in the raised areas. I like to use *gels* becuase its less prone to get built up into the raised areas. I like to apply it with a paint brush.

yea i like the shine of armor all.
if ur on a budget for cleaning your rims...i just wash them before i wash the whole car with a tire brush and car wash soap. works great. then i can get the rest of the car afterward.
