Hey everyone. I'm a new member to this whole thing. I just got my Grand AM GT about a week ago, and I've already got some plans for it. My first thing was today actually, picked me up an after market antenna from PepBoys :-). I plan to go with smaller things first, like overlays and additional cosmetic things. I also will be picking up a drop in K&N for it later this week. I'm not sure though, I've seen many opinions about different air filters on here. If anyone has some tips/pointers for me, shoot! Anyways, here she is. Hope the picture works.

*welcome* Hope you are enjoying the car so far! Id recommend going with a cold air intake over the drop in filter. A cold air intake will give you a little bit of everything-> performance, better fuel economy, that cool whoosh sound when you step on the gas, and a little bit to show off under the hood. Check out the sponsors link near the top of the page and be sure to use the search feature, its your best friend.

yeah, i'm hoping to get some tint for it pretty soon! i gotta check what the legal limit is in ohio, i don't remember. hmm... i never saw that black dart overlay, i'm gonna have to check that out. as for the cold air intake, i have only found one for it, and that was on http://www.customgrandam.com/coldair.htm.. is that what you are talking about? and if so, is it a quality part?

oh awesome. front sides, that means windshield and driver and passenger side windows? how noticeable would 70% be on front instead of 50%?

front sides is literally, just the side windows on the front, windshield not included. they don't really like you tinting the windshield because it cuts back on visibility drastically, instead they recommend tinting just the visor to cut back on glare from the sun. some people also just lay a short strip of vinyl (iirc the law is no wider than 6") across the top of the windshield over the visor, searching may find you some pictures of that here.
70%..not that noticable, and i don't think we have pics of it here, you may want to run some google searches if you want to see what it looks like..i personally think even 50% is quite light and if you want to stay legal, go right at the limit and get the 50%..it'll flow better if you go with a darker tint on the back and rear of the car too.

do not get 70% tint, it wouldn't be that noticeable and be a big waste of money
