Trying anyway. I've set myself up with a profile and since they're doing online votes this year I was hoping I could get some help with some last minute votes from some GAGT members. I'd really appreciate it guys and it would really help boost my career. Here's the link (http://realworldcasting.com/people/thecollegekid)so check it out and if you think I'd be good for the show, then vote it up!

As of right now, I just finished up a bachelor's in marketing and advertising and if I can find a way to get myself enough votes for the Real World, I'll have a working example of my ability to advertise effectively. My CAREER would be boosted...

Most people on that show make an ass of themselves by the end their season. I dont think it will help your career, it will most likely cripple it quickly. In order to booste your career you need to actually have one, your just a college graduate right now.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I think I could get most of the GAGT.com board to vote for me, yeah? Hahahahaha...

I just watched the last episode last nite and totally thought about it. I'm not crazy enough...although I could be if I wanted to...

Sorry collegekid...I haven't even decided if I wanted to or not and I already have the same amount of votes as you pretty much! lol

word...a master's is almost frowned upon in the advertising world and experience is key. Good call on the votes though, but look at the views. I may only have 8 views but I've had over 150 people view the profile and all I have to do is show hits. Anything else?

Word, those guys truly sit at work and surf that site. Managers think MySpace is a site they should block but they should really look hard at car forums as a place where their employees spend their time.

Must be one of those professional advertising techniques.

Yea, I just graduated from MSU with a bachelors in marketing. This would be a very ineffective resume builder. No potential employer would be interested in hiring you knowing that you can party hard for MTV to boost ratings. Start looking for real advertising/marketing jobs. I know the job market's tough...I'm in it too. Start in sales and move around...you'll make good money for a while and actually advance your career instead of hinder it with this real world idea. I'll give you 10 points for creativity, -20 for career advancement.
