its been over a year since ive posted pix. today i finsihed up my retrofit and decided to snap some pix before I leave town for the weekend. Some new mods are the e46 projectors w/homemade angel eyes, Fbody brakes with my own twist, clear turn reflectors in my tails(light up orange) with black vinyl strip on the reflector thats fused to the lense. Also put a back up cam in and a few other things.....

(yes i know the car is dirty)

Looks really good!

Did you make the angle eyes by using the plastic rod that are on blinds, then bending it and cutting it with a dremel?

Thanks guys!
the angel eyes I bought from pepboys when I first got the car. they were for a bmw and way too big. also they had blue leds in them YUK! lol so I stuck them in the oven and make them to size and ordered some 40,000mcd white leds.

making the headlights was pretty fun. everything is oem except the replacement headlights. (depo) I will get back to anyone with questions when I get back on sunday.

did u have to do any drilling behind the headlights in order for them to fit???? u do the dot or e-code ones???? those projectors are from the a4 or the bmw???

i wish i had the gutts to rip my headlamps apart and retrofit them in.... had a pair and miss them already. not spending the money to have a company do them again

very nice, i was waiting to see them on the car once i first saw you on hidplanet. they look much too small to be e46's though...non bi-xenon im assuming? Why oh why on earth didnt you paint the housings?!? either way, nicely done. its good to see people take the initiative to do projector retros. Sad how this thread will turn into morons asking where you bought them, and then once they realize you made them, how much you will charge to make them some. :nono:
lets see some output pics. :p
If i were you, id ditch the red badges on the side and keep the brakes red only, or paint them black to be more stealth. The look is over played i know, but it looks so damned good! Your tails and reverses are SCREAMING for tint too. Keep it up.

boost!

nioce!

now its time to rip em apart.. first, you need different parking led's to match the halo's.. get custom and make your own 194 bulb w/ the same led's from the halo's left over.. housing def needs to be painted.. black on black on black was so sexy and i surely miss that about my GA... and WTF is up w/ the tails? i hope those arent jamestraight led's... you need to upgrade if so http://autolumination.com/3157_3156.htm.

but all in all, :applause:

MAG, next set should be fiberglassed and painted black due to the fiberglasssing I will need to do because I will be using a bixenon projector. As for the tails, one day they will be redone with superflux in a custom layout.

I can probibly do 500 for a new set of headlights with bixenon projectors. You would need to get the rest of the hid stuff though. Let me get my set done and ill see if i will want to make anymore.
