Window Tinting

I hava a White 99 grand am GT, and i want to get my windows tinted, But my dad is going to pay for it and he said that the tint must be legal. I think the legal tint limit is like 35% or something. Is this even worth getting done if the tint is only 35%?

I thought that KY didnt have a tint law.

If it does then yes 35% on the front windows and however dark you want it on the back is well worth it.

I think 35% is too transparent. The legal for the back windows are also 35%? Gay. I'd get it done anyways, though. Tint is nice.

Like I said I have 5% on my rear windows and never get hassled. I also have tinted tails and back up lights and have yet to be pulled over.

I just have 35% on the rear and on sunny days, you can hardly see it.

For KY:
35% front side windows
18% Rear side windows
18% Rear window

& Don't forget the sticker on the driver's door certifying that the tint is "legal".

Means the Police Officer must be able to see in (like 35% is what is suggested/recommended).

Just throw 5% all the way around...:p just kiddin. So many people in my town have 5% all way around so I decided to as well, have passed a bunch of cops, havent gotten hassled yet, havent gotten in trouble for my tinted tails either.
