Here is the photoshop, not too bad for my first time doing tails...but i'm not exactly happy with the way it looks. The left one looks better then the right

Heh, just saw this thread and sent Josh a pm already.

I had a funeral over a week ago, and this week I've been moving into my new Apt..we were jacking someone's unsecured wireless internet but it was super sketchy and cut out recently on us. So basically I've been without internet for awhile.

Anyways, I'm working alot now, so I'll be lurking more often. As for the tails, an updated pic of them will be taken tomorrow, and I'll check my work schedule to see the first day I can ship them next week. :)


FYI, you may want to invest in some red led bulb replacements (plug/play deal) and some load resistors (I could send you some if needed cause I don't think I'm using mine on pyro's tails). It'll make the brake lights and turn signals alot brighter than a simple filament bulb. :D

it's actually pretty simple, because there is a ground wire on the car portion of the light harness, and then other wires are for the blinkers, and you just run the resistor between those two wires.

run a search for the thread pyro made on here about his led tails when he first finished them, there should be a ms paint image in there that shows what each wire on that harness does (ie ground, blinker, brake, etc)

ive just grown accustomed to my fast blinkers and like them the way they are, thats why im ditching the resistors..lol

yeh, prices are lower on broadband internet for pre-existing comcast customers. i need to read the fine print to find out how long you have to be a customer for to get these lower prices..but basically we're gonna get our cable tv (possibly find a way to increase the reliability of the signal we were jacking (legally)) and then try to get cable internet at the lower prices which aren't so brutal.

the problem is, the guy im splitting this cost with is moving out end of the fall semester and my other roommate doesn't watch tv or have a computer and i'd be taking over the full charges at that point, which i don't mind..but i don't want to be paying over $120 a month for both, it's just not right.

The Air Force, Navy and Marines only spend 6 months here. Dam* 15 months now for us since they made them standard and now they want to take away the $1000 extra a month for over 12 months and give us 1 day off per month. The sad thing is that that's what I do Ajaxus. I sit in a chair and monitor the communications network for problems, track outages, etc. Everything (SIPR & NIPR) is displayed on 4 40" monitors in an air conditioned office in the Division command center and all I have to do is telnet from a laptop into other units routers and call managers and see what the problems might be and fix them. So, basically, It get really boring and I've only been here 2.5 months. So, basically I stay on GAGTforum if I'm not doing anything else or pulling guard on a gate within a protected area that is guarded. Military intelligence for ya.

Curious...those look like it's not the lens that is tinted...but the actual inside red reflectors? Is that correct? If so, what did you use to tint without having the tint melt off?

I would like to do the same.

the lens is not tinted, it was the inside painted black. also i didn't do it

Ya, I know the lens isn't tinted... and i can see the inside painted black. But the red reflectors them self..how where they tinted? Was it just paint? The first pic you put up looks like the lens is painted...but the pick sik put up look like just the insides and the reflectors painted/tinted.
