I'm looking for a heated mirrors kit for my GA. I've looked around but there doesn't seem to be any universal "glue-on" kits. I've only seen replacement mirrors, and none for a Grand Am.
Have any of you guys seen such a kit anywhere? It seems to me like it should be easy enough to make (the only thing I don't know how to make/where to get myself is the element) but it seems like noone has ever done it.
Anyone has any suggestion? Am I the only one who'd like to have that option?

Buick Regals are equipped with power outside heated mirrors. Just a thought but possibly you could use the element from one of the Regals on a GA. The motor may even be the same part. Maybe.... You might be able to pick these up cheaply from a scrapyard if the mirror housing and glass is broken but the motors are still good. Just a thought.

Hmmm, thanks for the hint. I'll have a look to see how similar the Buick's mirrors are to the GA, maybe it'll be possible just to switch the glass or maybe even just the elements. I don't need the motor (I got power everything that's available) so I hope that's not all in one piece...
