My car was broken into back in January- nothing was stolen [despite radar detector, Alpine HU, snowboard + crap, numerous CDs, etc]- smashed window.

About a month later came out to my car in the parking lot and there's a HUGE focking dent between both passenger side doors. Fantastic. Over $2k for door skins + repainting 1/2 the car. Pressure crack in the rear bumper as well. Adjustor is coming Thurs. Body shop will prob have my car for a week. Superb.

DMV checkpoint stop last month = tint ticket. I was actually gonna take the tint off & plead not guilty since June = inspection, but I totally forgot and the date came up too quick so I hadta pay it.

Last week my boyfriend's dad backed into my car = no dent, but paint peeled off the front bumper.. and he said he'd pay, but was expecting to pay like $50. heh. $250-300 to pay outta pocket from the body shop I'm going to to get everything fixed.

Slow leak in my driver's side front tire which I haven't had time to patch cuz I've been busy- screws with gas mileage & allignment. Got freakin drenched during the monsoon cuz I had 15lbs of air when I came outta work the other day.. Hopefully, getting that taken care of today.

What else.. oh, been fighting with the dealer I got the car from for over a year cuz they owe me $200 for speakers + replacing a few things, including the LED 3rd brake light which now NEEDS to be fixed asap for inspection [which I'll probably fail anyway cuz of the tint]. Stupid dealer is 45 mins away too. Can't even go to the 1 around the corner from me. I hate the dealer. I feel like gtluva. ;crap

I'm also about due for that 90k mile service which is $540 before tax.. pita. Crossing my fingers to get it done at my friend's for significantly cheaper- like the cost of new plugs and maybe a filter.

In 3k miles I'll be outta my extended warranty that I didn't want to pay for cuz I knew it wouldn't be used, and guess what? unless my tranny dies in the next month- it wasn't used. Catch 22. ughh.

I think that's about it. Anybody wanna buy a 2004 WRX?

Just an FYI, if you've got a Belle Tire or Discount Tire around you, they will fix your tire for your for free. I had a leak in one of my back tires earlier this year - took it in to Discount, they fixed it, and away I went. At least will save you a little cash there if you can.

It's 4 yrs old this month, actually. Had 68k when I got it- I'm at 88k now.

b/c the dealership blatantly lied to you the car would probably be fine if the previous owner didn't do a hack job modding/demodding it

Approx how long does it take to remove 2 sets of rims from tires, and then mount + balance a set? Come to think of it, I don't think I'd have room in my car on the drive home with 4 rims and 3 tires. ****.

update: sans the tint, I *should* pass inspection, AND I received a check in the mail today for $200 from the dealership. :) Hopefully, there's no need to ever trek down there again.

I got an $1800 check in the mail after my deductable for the damage to the side. hooray. Hopefully, it doesn't come out to much more than that to fix.. only ****ty news- when the adjustor was out looking at my car and I showed him what my bf's dad did, he noticed the hood was slightly bent too- so he gave me a separate estimate for the front = $1200 aka not just a small scrape. I'm gonna have it all fixed at once, and my bf's dad doesn't wanna put it thru his insurance company, so he's just gonna cover the bill for that. =/

Now all I desperately need to do is swap tires.
