Hey what's up everybody, I'm new here and I am having a problem here. I just got
a 03 grand am se2 ( which I was told was a gt but it isn't) and I have a few problems with the car. The abs light and trac off light and service vehicle soon comes on and the brakes are bad so I need to know what are the best set for replacement for the brakes. I seen a set of pads and rotors(which are slotted) for 100.00 on e-bay. Would slotted rotors work good for these cars or should I stay with regulars one. Also I have a sneaky suspicion that something is wrong with the transmission. It seem to be helding back the motor. I have driven a couple other of these and they feel completely different. I have check the motor out and thats not it (so it seems) but is there a way to change the shifting on these cars to make them more responsive? I know thats alot questions and thoughts but any help would be nice.

Welcome.
A lot of GA'ers seem to like the R1 Concepts drilled and slotted rotors.
