first off, I have a 2001, but i want a center console that has the remote tape deck on the bottom, just so i can put a custom switch plate right there, but waht i'm wandering is, do they have the same opening for the head unit? I have the monsoon head unit, but i'm not sure if the ones w/ the remote deck are different. if someone knows and will post the number for a center console w/ the remote tape deck, please do so! thanks!

I would guess the opening for the headunit would be the same, not sure though. Well, here's the number for the piece with cassette.
*EDIT* invalid number

I don't think u can get that plate for a 2001+ because they got the double din hu, and u can have that hu with a cd and tape in one, for pre 2001 models, u can have the remote tape addon

99 with the remote cassette is a 1.5 din
when they went to the monsoon unit it went to 2 din, so i dont think that would work.

Here's the number for a 99-00 bezel with the remote tape deck but like they said above, the headunit opening is gonna be different.
99-00(with cassette)

Also the climate controls are lower on the 01+. So it takes even more oding to get it to work!

Does anyone know the part number for the 99-00 bezel withOUT the remote tape deck? I replaced my head unit and removed the tape deck and hate that opening, stuff keeps falling down there.
Thanks!

Just so I can be sure, this is the double din size right? I don't want to order the wrong one by mistake. I have a little project in mind...:D

I'm not absolutely sure but that is the only number I have for the 01 bezel. Are they all double din that year?
The only other numbers I got other than what you see in this thread are...
02-03 w/Onstar 22702472
02-03 w/o Onstar 22675069

Yeah, I guess they must all be double din. Just to verify, I browsed through a bunch of n-body reg's and cardomain pages and it looks like that is the case. Thanks again for your help!
