I had a little "incident" a few months back body shop wanted $1000+ to fix this :wtf

So I decided to tackle this project myself, my uncle pulled the dent for me and I took over from there its almost ready for paint just need to sand it down some more.

kinda scary sanding away at your car but it should turn out nice in the end and it will only cost me about $50 :)

My uncle is going to yes he's been doing it for years and does a pretty damn good job too he's got like $1000 in guns, its not a professional body shop but I'm saving $950 too so I can't complain its only a DD I just want it to look decent. He buys salvage cars all the time and fixes them up right in his garage to resell them.

I would never attempt that on my own, priming it was enough adventure that **** goes EVERYWHERE

Its the finishing i would be concerned with.
I know you got your inspiration from Big Joes fender thread. I am willing to bet his fender has still not been wetsanded and final finished. Body work, painting and finishing are 3 completely different worlds.

Yea he said thats the hard part blending it so it looks like it was never painted, even if its not perfect it will look better than before and I saved a ton of money. I want to see if theres a local class I can take on body work/painting its definitely something I want to do in the furture when I buy a project car.
