Currently I have my car setup with the following minor bolt on mods.

CAI
ZZP ICCU
FFP UD pulley
DHP 1.0 (w/O flash)
SLP catback

I have the fuel trim setup on the ICCU to 95% fuel at idle, 100 at cruising RPM's and 105% at full throttle.. My question is is the general rule of thumb to advance until knock appears? Would it be stupid to advance timing in the cruising RPM range?

What should I expect? Actual HP gains 4-5 tops..

Im still deciding if I should fork over $$$ for the DHP reflash or let it be as is..

Gracias.

Actually it's a good idea to advance timing at part throttle (i.e. crusing) conditions. You can gain a little MPG and throttle response. 3-4 degrees is about all you'll want to do.

OT, but do you want to head to Infineon anytime soon NorKoastal? Track nites are on Wednesdays- thinking about going sometime soon...maybe we can get LukeD out there in his SC/T

Lets do Eeet.. I wouldn't mind seeing Luke run a few passes.. His car is the beast, but mine is prettier :icyhot:

Sweet.. What about the upper ranges.. Is there power to be made by running the 3-4 degrees up top 2500+ as well?

I forgot to add I have the Interceptor gauge hooked up so I can keep an eye on Knock, etc.

As for the upper ranges I'd start at 1 degree advance and take .5 increases after that. Once you hit KR, lower your advance 1 degree and you should be set. In the upper ranges it really depends on how the car feels/dyno results to dictate the exact amount.
