Sold my other bike Thursday night and went and picked my new bike up yesterday. It's a 2007 Kawasaki ZZR600. I love the upgrade from the 2004 Ninja ex250. Anyways, here are some pictures:

Very nice. Was the 250 a great bike? Ive been thinking about picking one up because they are pretty cheap.

I loved the bike... It would do 85 easy. Very forgiving, so I was glad I got it to learn on. I put about 1,000 miles on it and I was ready to upgrade, but I am also 6'1 adn 210 lbs. Obvioulsy the lighter you are the faster it will be... It had quick acceleration and does the 1/4 mile in 14.5, if that matters. I would definately get it. If I find one for cheap in the future I will pick it up as a fun bike. You can't beat the 70mpg. Plus they hold their value.

Time to start modding right? Get rid of the black license plate bracket, handles on the back, front turn signals that stick out (get the nice flush mount ones) and of course a new pipe.

Sweet! Best cheap thing that you can do for that new bike is get a Dynojet Jet Kit...I think on your application, you can expect an additional 5 hp at the wheels.

Shamless plug for me:)

Good choice man. Last summer I picked up a new Ninja Zx6r. I feel its the best investment a young person can make.

I would say otherwise Mike, but that would be based off of a personal experience.

I understand, but my personal reason is that a friend died on one..so while it may seem fun in the moment, they are very capable of bringing that full life to a quick end..a crash on a bike is nothing compared to one in a car..so basically, you guys gotta be careful so your friends and family don't have to go through what we went through. ;crap

Grow a penis! haha, j/k AJ. I know what ya mean. All I can say is I wear my gear, respect the bike and watch out for you cagers on the road lol. It's just a great relaxation and just an overall good time.

Carbon Fiber exhaust, flushmounts and powercoated wheels are in the plans for summer.

congrats on the bike, just be sure to get some good gear to wear when you're out hitting the twisties.

personally, i have an '05 R6. and my gear saved my bacon a few months ago when i 12 o'clocked it doing about 60mph. so again, get a good jacket and kevlar line pants at least!

That Bit** is nice!!! I love it...I would get a 250 but I really love the Yamaha 600 and it has the lowest seat height. I'm only 4'11 so I need it dropped anyways like down to 28 incheslol But it's better for it to be dropped from 31 then from 34 and the YZF is a bad bit** anyways!

You made an excellent choice! Very nice:)

Thats the other bike I was looking at, except in black. I went with the Harley because the insurance was astronomical on the ZZR out here in IL. Congrats and great effing choice!

Thanks Jon...

Wow the Harley and the ZZR are way different bikes. I would have went with the Victory Vegas 8 Ball, but I didn't wanna spend $13,000 on a bike lol.

Why was the insurance so high and how much if you don't mind me asking. I was quoted about $65 a month for the YZF.
